Simblified is back, after being able to con one of India's largest podcast networks (Indus Vox Media)into signing us on! So look forward to the same nonsense but with improved frequency (apologies) and better audio quality! Wooo!
This week, we look at a whole host of things, including:
Gravitational waves - what the heck are they and why should I care?
Should we be worried about Trump getting a Nobel Peace Prize?
Takeaways from the CES (And, what on earth is the CES?)
Article of the week: How General Motors stole Tesla's thunder (www.wired.com/2016/01/gm-electri…y-bolt-mary-barra/)
A new section where we look at the etymologies behind some words and places (aka how to impress your date)
We hope you enjoy this (longer than usual) episode.
Feedback? Ping us on @chuck_gopal and @shenoyn on Twitter. Enjoy!
Happy new year! So this 'first' episode is not actually a full episode per se. It features some extra material we recorded last time.
Nevertheless, it's fairly entertaining as Naren shows off his new selfie stick (thankfully, this is not an innuendo) and redeems himself by explaining to us what the Fed did and whether we should be celebrating.

After an unnecessarily long hiatus, Goregaon's greatest podcast is back \m/
We try to look at the economics behind Christmas, including a couple of very interesting economic indices (it's possible!), make a very bad joke involving Oasis, talk of Chuck's misadventure with some very spicy Chicken wings... And we end with a carol dedicated to our judiciary.

After an indecently long break, we're back with a decently long episode. Today, we talk about various issues including: 1. Something that's embarrassed Mallus more than Sreesanth 2. One Rank One Pension 3. Explaining the stock market crash with confectionary 4. The futility of Indo-Pak talks.

And we're back after a little hiatus! This week we look at why we think Putin deserves the Nobel, how Raghuram Rajan's trolling the FinMin and most importantly, an Irish drinking song about the porn ban.

In the first ever second episode of Simblified, we look at tiny Pluto, how Iran has been a good boy waiting for the US Santa to bring the Christmas presents of eased sanctions, and of course, the axing of two big teams from India's largest cricket circus. Warning: A guitar is featured somewhere here.
