Must one do teshuva to get into the category of a tzaddik? Why not just do another mitzvah?

There is a Halacha that one should bathe and have a haircut before Rosh Hashana because we're confident in the outcome. However, the Gemara tells us that we don't say Hallel on Rosh Hashana due to its severity. So what is it? It seems like a contradiction?!?!?

Sleep and death are related not just because we're not (totally) here. It could also be because a person can't be told to do either of them by someone else.

We down here in this world have the power to make Halachic decisions. How is that possible? Isn't the Torah spiritual?

With Rosh Hashana rapidly approaching, maybe it is a good idea to look back and realize how much good Hashem has given them this year.

Doing a mitzvah with simcha is extremely integral to doing a mitzvos. Also, one who does them with simcha gets double the reward for doing it with happiness and enthusiasm.

Amalek jumped right into the hot, scalding bath. They did the exact opposite of how one conquers the Yetzer Hara. Don't be like them.
