Welcome to our first regular season episode of Leafs Quick Hits!  The NHL regular season has already started over in Europe with the Devils and Sabres playing in Prague. The regular season in North America gets going on Tuesday, with our Leafs hitting the ice for the 2024-25 season on Wednesday! 

We have a very special guest joining us to get us ready for opening Night! Maple Leaf defensemen Simon Benoit stopped by to chat with us after Leafs practice on Friday, to discuss how he's feeling about his game heading into the season, what we can expect from our towering D-core and what life is like since welcoming his baby girl! He gave us some incredible insights, and we are so excited to be able to share the conversation with all of you!

Post interview, we take our Quick Hit look at the Leafs this week. In these bonus episodes, we'll be taking a bit of a deeper dive on the games played as well as a look ahead to what is coming up for the Blue and White each week. While there are no games in the books yet, for this inaugural Quick Hit episode, we explore player dynamics, roster decisions, and the importance of goaltending depth as we head into the NHL season.

The excitement surrounding the opener is definitely building and we are so excited for the games to begin! Having Simon Benoit on with us to preview it for you, well, words can't express how grateful we are to have had the chance to speak with him and share the conversation with you, and we thank the Maple Leafs for making him available to us.
