Join us arount the table as we get into a Q & A Session with Bro. John "Ernie" Perez. We dig into some "hot topics" today! What if our politics don't mesh? What if the loudest battles of our time—elections, labels, social feeds—are just bait to pull our eyes off Jesus? We sat down with a room full of ministers and went straight at the fractures: how to honor leaders without compromising convictions, how to stay family when the world demands you pick a side, and how to keep your witness clear when politics gets messy.
We start with the tension every church feels: different votes, shared Savior. Leaders change, but our mission doesn’t. We talk frankly about praying for those in authority, drawing firm lines on moral truth, and refusing to let party identity define our fellowship. From Nebuchadnezzar to Cyrus to Caesar, Scripture shows God steering history through imperfect rulers; that perspective loosens fear and sharpens focus. Time may be cyclical, but it’s also speeding toward an end—so we anchor our hope where it can’t be moved.
Then we confront the spirit of fear. 2 Timothy 1:7 frames the conversation: God gives power, love, and a sound mind. We unpack how fear sneaks in through what we consume—horror, true crime, graphic storytelling—and why entertainment is never neutral. What you watch recreates something in you. The remedy is both spiritual and practical: close open doors, feed on truth, and build habits that restore peace. We share raw stories from deliverance and healing ministry where discernment made all the difference—moments when repentance unlocked recovery, when a hidden family tie blocked freedom, and when the wisest choice was to wait for the Spirit’s timing rather than grasp at a dramatic moment.
Throughout, you’ll hear a simple pattern: pray first, listen longer, act led. Don’t lay hands quickly. Don’t trade your testimony for a political win. Learn to sit in silence until God speaks. If we guard our gates, honor conscience, and keep Jesus first, the church can stand united in a divided age and bring real hope to people hungry for it.
If this conversation strengthens you, subscribe, share it with a friend who needs peace over panic, and leave a review so we can reach more listeners. Then tell us: where are you choosing the cross over your party right now? Recorded on 10/14/2025

Bro. Ernie continues our study on "A Simple Presentation into The Book of ACTS", Chapter 5. A world on edge can make faith feel fragile—until you watch the early church stand tall. We gather around the table to read Acts 5 with open Bibles and open hearts, tracing how integrity, reverence, and Spirit-led courage turn pressure into breakthrough. From campus awakenings to global headlines, we ask what actually forms a resilient church and why the fear of the Lord may be the power we’ve been missing.
We start by grounding our moment in God’s sovereignty over leaders and nations, then revisit the stunning chain of events from Acts 3 and 4: a public healing, public pressure, and a prayer meeting that ignites boldness. Barnabas steps forward as a living picture of Spirit-led generosity, not compulsion. That sets the stage for the jarring story of Ananias and Sapphira, where the issue isn’t money but motive—using a gift to gain status and lying to God. The result is sobering, yet it purifies the community and opens space for signs and wonders that reach the streets and spill into surrounding cities.
Opposition escalates. The apostles are jailed, an angel frees them, and the command is clear: go back and speak “all the words of this life.” That’s the pulse of apostolic faith—delivered to proclaim, not to disappear. We talk honestly about costly obedience, the difference between decisions and discipleship, and how healthy churches turn enthusiasm into formation. Hospitality, shared provision, and older believers training younger ones become not side projects but the way we grow a durable people whose lives actually change.
If you’re longing for a church that carries both holiness and healing, this conversation will steady your steps. Listen, share with a friend who wants more than slogans, and subscribe so you never miss future studies through Acts. And if something stirred you today, leave a review and tell us where you’re ready to take your next faithful step. (Recorded 10/14/2025)

Bro. Ernie continues our study on "A Simple Presentation into The Book of ACTS", Chapter 4, Part 2. A healed man at the Beautiful Gate and a courtroom full of power shouldn’t belong in the same story but Acts 4 brings them face to face—and everything changes. We walk through verses 19–37 with clear steps for real life: obey God rather than men, pray Scripture when pressure rises, and expect the Holy Spirit to turn private devotion into public courage.
We start by grounding the moment: Annas and Caiaphas still shape the city’s religious power, the resurrection is fresh in memory, and one undeniable miracle has set the city buzzing. Peter and John refuse to be quiet about what they’ve seen and heard. Their courage isn’t swagger; it’s obedience. When they gather with believers, the room lifts Psalm 2 like a banner, reading their moment through prophecy instead of panic. They ask for boldness to speak and for God’s hand to heal in Jesus’ name—fully aware the last miracle sparked threats. The answer is immediate and unforgettable: the place shakes, they are all filled with the Holy Spirit again, and the word goes out with boldness.
From there, we follow the grace trail. “One heart and one soul” becomes more than a phrase as the community meets real needs with real sacrifice. People sell property, lay gifts at the apostles’ feet, and make sure no one lacks. This isn’t ideology; it’s discipleship logistics for pilgrims who stayed to be taught. We also meet Barnabas, the “son of consolation,” whose encouragement strengthens leaders and helps knit this growing church together. Along the way we tackle honest questions about being filled with the Spirit, authentic prayer, and what faithful witness looks like when opposition mounts.
If you’re hungry for simple discipleship that is biblical, Spirit-led, and practical—this conversation is your map. Share it with someone who needs courage, start a round table, and walk through Acts together. Subscribe, leave a review, and tell us: Where do you need boldness right now? Recorded on 10/6/2025

Join Bro. Ernie as he continues this dive into "True Discipleship" part 2. What if belief is the beginning, not the finish line? We dig into Jesus’ final instructions and follow the thread through Acts to recover a discipleship pattern that actually forms people: repentance, water baptism in the name of Jesus for the remission of sins, and the empowering gift of the Holy Spirit. No shortcuts, no cultural hand-me-downs—just the gospel that builds an Acts-shaped church.
We start by laying the fourfold foundation from Matthew 28, Mark 16, Luke 24, and John 20, showing how “teach, baptize, obey, and receive power” fits together. Then we watch Peter and Paul put it into practice: Acts 2:38’s call to repent and be baptized in Jesus’ name, Acts 22:16’s charge to wash away sins in baptism, Romans 6’s burial and newness of life, and Colossians 2’s Spirit-led circumcision of the heart. Along the way, we confront the gap between professed belief and obedient allegiance, exposing why a hand-raised moment without follow-through leaves lives unchanged and churches unformed.
From doctrine to practice, we frame discipleship as apprenticeship. Jesus trains the Twelve and the Seventy, sending them with authority and vulnerability to preach the kingdom, heal the sick, and learn dependence in the field. He redirects joy from power displays to the promise that our names are written in heaven, and he calls us to count the cost in Luke 14, placing him above every other claim on our loyalty. Expect a clear path forward: feed on Scripture, test teachings by context, move from milk to solid food, and let the Spirit lead a life of everyday obedience.

Join us as Bro. Ernie does a two-part series on TRUE DISCIPLESHIP. What if following Jesus felt less like joining a club and more like apprenticing under a master craftsman? We take a clear-eyed look at the Great Commission across Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John and trace the common threads that shape a whole-life response: teach, preach, baptize, and go. Not into a monastery, but into real streets, real workplaces, and real relationships where the name of Jesus carries power and responsibility.
We unpack repentance as the first faithful step—not a hand raise, but a change of direction—and explore how Jesus’ baptism, wilderness testing, and call to “follow me” form a pattern for our own path. The promise “I will make you fishers of men” becomes the heartbeat of the episode. Formation is slow and deliberate, like an apprenticeship: watch the Master, work with the Master, then carry the work forward. We talk about putting Jesus at the hub of life rather than on a spoke, creating daily habits of Scripture and prayer that make space for real transformation.
Personal stories bring the theology down to earth. We share moments of disability, detours, and unexpected doors opening for mission—evidence that God weaves purpose through hardship without romanticizing the pain. Abraham’s call to go and be made becomes a lens for understanding biblical faith as trust that moves feet. Along the way we correct common shortcuts that treat belief as mere agreement and invite listeners to sit with Jesus long enough to be shaped, then step out boldly as those sent in his name.
If this conversation stirs you to take a next step—repent, re-center, or re-engage your call—stick with us for part two soon. Subscribe, share this with a friend who’s ready to move from fan to apprentice, and leave a review with one practice you’ll change this week. Your story may nudge someone else to follow. Join us as Bro. Ernie continues our study on "A Simple Presentation into The Book of ACTS" - Chapter 4, Part 1. A public miracle collides with a controlled narrative, and the shockwaves still reach us. We gather with Brother Ernie and the team to revisit the healing at the Beautiful Gate and follow the story into Acts 4: an arrest, an inquisition, and a bold reply that refuses to trade truth for approval. What unfolds is both history and template—how the earliest believers kept Jesus at the center, credited him for the power on display, and faced down intimidation without losing their voice.
We walk through the council’s questions and Peter’s Spirit-given words, connecting them to Jesus’ promise that the Father would speak through his people when they are pressed. The conversation lays out why the name of Jesus is more than a formula; it is authority, identity, and the hinge of salvation. When the leaders recognize Peter and John as ordinary men who had been with Jesus, we pause on that test: can people hear our time with Christ in our tone, our courtesy, and our courage? Along the way, we contrast the lean, house-to-house life of the Acts church with our modern layers of programs and committees, asking what we have added that the apostles never needed.
The tension escalates as the council admits the miracle but tries to ban the name. We explore the cost of faithful witness—exclusion, fines, or worse—and why the gospel keeps advancing anyway, with five thousand men believing despite threats. Expect resistance when the resurrection is preached clearly; expect the Spirit to supply words; expect transformation where Jesus is named. If your heart aches for simple discipleship, Scripture-rich teaching, and the kind of boldness that sounds like you’ve been with Jesus, this conversation will meet you there and nudge you forward.

Join us around the table as Sis. Audia, Sis. Anne and myself continue our study on "Are YOU Rapture Ready???" The shofar theme runs through every page of scripture we explore, from the shadow of the feasts to the promise of a trumpet that changes everything. We revisit how Jesus precisely fulfilled the spring feasts—Passover, Unleavened Bread, First Fruits, and Pentecost—and make the case that the Feast of Trumpets points to the rapture: the day and hour no one knows, verified by two witnesses at the new moon. This isn’t speculation for its own sake; it’s a call to be ready, encouraged, and anchored in the hope Paul says should comfort us.
We walk through the core passages—1 Thessalonians 4:16–18 and 1 Corinthians 15:51–52—unpacking what happens at the last trumpet, why the dead in Christ rise first, and how the living are changed in a twinkling. We address common questions about soul sleep, paradise, and glorified bodies, and we clarify the difference between meeting the Lord in the air and returning with him at the end of the tribulation. From there, we outline the prophetic framework: the restrainer, Daniel’s 70th week, the temple, and the midpoint abomination that exposes the Antichrist’s demand for worship through a one world religion push.
Along the way, we keep the focus on hope and responsibility. The Bema seat is not condemnation; it’s stewardship, rewards, and crowns we can lay at Jesus’ feet. The marriage supper of the Lamb points to union and joy, while Tabernacles foreshadows God dwelling with us in the millennial reign. We also offer a clear gospel invitation for anyone unsure about their standing with Christ, because certainty matters when the trumpet sounds.

Around the Table join Sis. Diana, Sis. Anne and Sis. Audia as we discuss how headlines hardened hearts, but ours broke. We watched people celebrate a killing and felt the weight of what that says about our culture—and about our souls. That grief led us straight to the question that matters most: are we actually ready to meet Jesus if he came today?
We share why “rapture ready” isn’t about a bumper sticker or a borrowed faith. It’s about repentance, surrender, and a living relationship with Jesus through the Holy Spirit. We open 1 Thessalonians 4 and Matthew’s last-days warnings to lay a clear foundation: no one knows the hour, but everyone can be ready. If your heart is heavy, angry, or numb, there’s room at the cross—again and again. Repentance isn’t shame; it’s the door back to life.
To anchor hope beyond headlines, we trace the Feasts of the Lord and how Jesus fulfilled the spring feasts with stunning precision. Passover reveals him as the perfect lamb. Unleavened Bread points to his sinless burial. Firstfruits proclaims his resurrection. Pentecost delivers the promised Spirit in us, not just with us. These aren’t trivia points; they are God’s timeline, reminding us that redemption is deliberate and personal. The torn veil means you have direct access to God right now—no pedigree, no middleman, just grace.
We end with a simple charge: let scripture be your final authority, not the noise of the moment. Choose the Spirit over the flesh in your words and your witness. Mourn with those who mourn. Pray for hearts to soften. And if you’ve been drifting, come home today. If this conversation stirred you, subscribe, share it with a friend, and leave a review to help more people find their way back to hope. (*Recorded on 9.18.2025)

We once again started to continue The Book of ACTS Study...but then we went Around the Table with Bro. Ernie, Sis. Patti, Sis. Audia, Sis. Anne, Sis. Tammie and Sis. Sandy and discussed...If baptism were only symbolic, why did the early church speak of burial and resurrection in the water? We open the door with Acts and walk through Romans 6 to explore a bolder claim: baptism is meant to mark us, not just move us. From the Spirit’s power to witness on Pentecost to daily choices that resist sin’s pull, we map how real faith shifts from emotion to commitment and from counting heads to changed lives.
Ernie and Mama share unforgettable testimonies that bring doctrine to life. A family’s story of deliverance starts with a cold December baptistry and ends with a home transformed. A young airman, fresh from addiction and standing on the edge of court-martial, encounters a dream where baptism in Jesus’ name turns water to blood—and then wades into a foul wartime ditch to be immersed, rising with a joy he can’t contain. These moments underline a conviction we return to again and again: if the name of Jesus carries authority to heal and deliver, it belongs in the water when we bury the old life.
We also confront modern discipleship head-on. Desire isn’t sin; surrendering to it is. In a culture saturated with sexual cues, we talk about building self-control, casting down imaginations, and letting the Spirit “help you shut up” when pride wants the last word. Holiness becomes a direction, not a performance—like a tree growing toward light, losing leaves and bearing fruit season by season. Love turns from infatuation to covenant, and repentance stays active, not nostalgic.
If you’re ready to move beyond “seven people got wet” toward “seven lives were changed,” this conversation will challenge and encourage you. Join us as we return to the pattern of Acts, the clarity of Romans 6, and the everyday courage of living as those raised from the dead. Subscribe, share with a friend who’s wrestling with baptism and commitment, and leave a review telling us how your life changed after the water. (*Recorded 9.15.2025)

Join us Around the Table as we discuss what if the most life-changing move of God doesn’t happen under stage lights but at your kitchen table? We sit down with Brother Ernie Perez to trace a raw, honest path from conference culture to daily discipleship, asking why God opens some eyes and how we can learn to hear Jesus for ourselves. Instead of chasing the next event, we press into the practices that form resilient faith: lingering at the altar, holding our schedules loosely, and guarding sacred moments from distraction.
Our conversation gets practical and personal. We unpack a near-breakthrough worship gathering disrupted by a roaming camera and explore how to honor the presence of God without turning worship into content. We revisit long nights of prayer and “hour of power” meetings, not as nostalgia but as a blueprint for attention in a noisy age. Luke 24 becomes a compass: Jesus opens understanding among disciples who stay close, wait together, and allow their fear to become hunger. That’s the doorway to revelation—nearness, not hype.
We also tackle commercial Christianity and the hidden fragility it can produce. Buildings and programs have their place, but they’re not the mission. Jesus multiplied His life through the three, the twelve, and the seventy; the kingdom still advances one person at a time. You’ll hear about one-on-one discipleship that ripples into eternity, neighbors prayed for by name, and quiet encounters with God at work and at home. Along the way, we offer simple rhythms: listening prayer, Scripture that becomes habit, hospitality that invites the Spirit, and leadership that treats every plan as tentative before an audience of one.
If you’re hungry for a faith that lasts Monday through Saturday, this conversation will meet you where you live. Listen, share with a friend who needs encouragement, and if it resonates, leave a rating and subscribe so more seekers can find their way to an everyday life with Jesus. (Recorded 9.8.2025)
