Join us as Bro. Ernie Perez takes us into the continuing study of "A Simple Presentation into The Book of ACTS - Chapter 7". Get your notebook ready!!!
Pressure doesn’t just test the church—it reveals it. We gather around Acts 6–7 and watch a swelling community face real needs, real conflict, and a real choice: drift into distraction or double down on prayer, the word, and Spirit-led service. The apostles protect their calling, seven servants rise, and Stephen steps into a ministry marked by wisdom, miracles, and fearless truth. That’s where the story ignites—a courtroom sermon that traces God’s promise from Abraham to Moses and confronts a tragic pattern: hearing the voice of God while resisting the Holy Spirit.
Stephen’s defense isn’t a rant; it’s a roadmap. He shows how God’s presence outruns buildings, how covenant rests on faith, and how idols sneak in when comfort calls the shots. Then the room erupts. Stephen sees Jesus standing at the right hand of God while the council covers their ears and rushes him. Outside the city, stones fly, cloaks pile up at the feet of a young man named Saul, and a dying disciple’s final words are mercy. It looks like loss, but it becomes a launch. The church scatters, the gospel runs, and Saul won’t be able to shake what he witnessed.
We talk about becoming a Book of Acts church without buzzwords: ordinary believers moving in extraordinary power, generosity that meets needs without compulsion, leadership that holds fast to prayer and Scripture, and witness that stays tender even under fire. Stephen wasn’t an apostle; he was a faithful servant who believed Jesus meant what He said about power for all who believe. If you’re longing for courage when culture pushes back, clarity when tradition grows loud, and a faith that loves its enemies without flinching, this conversation will steady your steps.

Join us "around the table" as we are joined by Bro. Mark Ellis, Bro. Ernie Perez, Sis. Sheila Ellis and Sis. Patti Perez and the girls. The question is asked...What if the future of the church looks less like a stage and more like a living room? We gather around a table to answer raw, timely questions about shrinking trust in megachurch personalities, the rise of small groups, and why house-to-house faith may be the resilient path forward. Along the way, we share candid stories of short prayers that changed lives, including a healing that began with a simple ask in a local shop. It’s not about microphones or hype; it’s about presence, friendship, and the quiet boldness to say, Can I pray with you?
We also wrestle with cultural tension—elections, pluralism, and fear—and refuse to answer anxiety with outrage. Instead, we root the response in the greatest commandments: love God fully and love neighbors as ourselves. That love doesn’t blur truth; it dignifies people while confronting deception through prayer, repentance, and patient conversation. Think Daniel’s prayer for a nation, not finger-pointing. Think spiritual warfare that binds darkness but embraces people. Think circles over rows, names over numbers, and everyday discipleship that grows one relationship at a time.
There’s a sober challenge here too: reject prosperity gimmicks, resist celebrity-driven faith, and recover generous, quiet service that meets real needs. If each one wins one—not with pressure, but with presence—the church grows in depth and breadth. We close with a tender invitation for anyone searching for Jesus and a shared commitment to go show love, give mercy, and be Jesus today. If you’ve been craving a practical, hopeful vision for resilient faith, pull up a chair.

Please join us as we continue you with Bro. John "Ernie" Perez as he continues to teach us "A Simple Presentation into The Book of ACTS - Chapter 6". Growth brings pressure—and in Acts 6 that pressure becomes the doorway to greater power. We open with a real tension: Hellenistic widows are being overlooked in the daily distribution. Instead of spinning plates, the apostles protect their call to prayer and the word while inviting the community to choose seven trusted, Spirit‑filled servants. That simple act of clarity—character first, wisdom second, commissioning always—transforms a complaint into a catalyst. The word increases, disciples multiply greatly, and even priests are drawn into the faith.
From there, we follow Stephen, a non‑apostle whose life demolishes the myth that only platform leaders carry power. Full of faith and the Holy Spirit, he works signs and wonders, reasons with unanswerable wisdom, and faces a hostile council after false witnesses twist his words. The room watches his face shine like an angel’s, a quiet miracle that reveals how the Spirit steadies a person under fire. We talk about why some hearts soften under conviction while others harden, and how rejection doesn’t signal God’s absence but often confirms the impact of faithful witness.
Along the way, we draw out practical takeaways for churches and everyday believers. Daily discipleship matters more than big moments. Healthy structure is a trellis that helps spiritual life grow. Leaders must guard their devotion and empower others. Servants can carry miracles into ordinary spaces—homes, markets, workplaces—through simple prayers and open hands. If you’ve wondered how to resolve growing pains without losing your soul, Acts 6 offers a blueprint that blends order with outpouring and turns service into multiplication.

A cave, a trough, and strips of cloth—three ordinary details that unlock the meaning of Christmas. We trace the path from betrothal cups and Galilean wedding customs to a midnight sign given to priestly shepherds outside Bethlehem, revealing why a baby wrapped in swaddling cloths was heaven’s way of saying, Behold the Passover Lamb.
We walk through Mary’s brave consent to the Holy Spirit, Joseph’s quiet obedience and legal adoption that secures Jesus’ Davidic lineage, and the precise weave of prophecy that moved a weary couple into the right town at the right time. Along the way, we share moments from Jerusalem and the hills near Bethlehem—temple steps echoing with worship, caves where lambs were swaddled to keep them spotless—and show how geography turns into theology. The manger wasn’t cute staging; it was a coded announcement to those who raised sacrificial lambs: the perfect Lamb has arrived.
From there, the story aims at the cross. Old sacrifices could point but not cleanse; Jesus comes as God with us to bear sin, suffer as we suffer, and rise to open the way home. We offer a clear, compassionate invitation to repent and believe, not as a ritual but as a real encounter with the living Christ who indwells and reshapes us from the inside out. If you’ve been searching for peace, acceptance, or meaning, this is your moment to meet the One who chose you first.

What if communion isn’t a ritual to rush but a doorway into life, healing, and courage? We open with fresh testimonies from a powerful ministry weekend—people leaving wheelchairs, oxygen set aside, faith rising—and then trace the story that makes sense of it all: the Passover lamb with no bones broken, the crucified Messiah who fulfilled that prophecy, and the living Christ who calls Himself the Bread of Life.
We walk through the Scriptures with care, from Exodus to Psalms to John 19, showing why it mattered that Jesus’ bones remained unbroken—because only a perfect Passover Lamb could bear the weight of our redemption. From there, we linger in John 6 where Jesus feeds the multitude near Passover, then shifts the crowd from craving loaves to seeking true life. His claim, “I am the bread of life,” invites more than admiration; it calls for participation. To “eat” His flesh and “drink” His blood is to receive the whole Christ, not as spectacle but as sustenance for souls and bodies.
Finally, we turn to 1 Corinthians 11 and talk plainly about worthy participation. This isn’t fear-mongering; it’s an invitation to repentance, discernment, and deep joy. Prepare your heart. Reconcile where needed. Approach the table not to fill your stomach but to proclaim the Lord’s death until He comes. Along the way we share practical ways to restore reverence—reading the texts aloud, using meaningful elements, making space for prayer and healing, and remembering that even the “broken pieces” matter to Jesus.
If your faith needs focus, if your heart needs hope, if your body needs healing, come hungry. The Bread of Life still satisfies. Listen, share with a friend, and tell us what shifted for you. We continue our study into "A Simple Presentation in The Book of ACTS - Chapter 5 - Part 2" with Bro. Ernie Perez. What happens when an angel opens the jail and tells you to go right back to the place you were arrested and keep preaching? We walk through Acts 6 and watch courage take shape: crowds gather for healing, leaders scramble to control the narrative, and the apostles insist on a simple, blazing claim—there’s power in the name of Jesus.
We open by mapping our moment to the first century: a visible falling away, a quiet awakening, and a church deciding whether faith is culture or commitment. From the sobering aftermath of Ananias and Sapphira to streets filled with the sick, we highlight why doctrine is not dry but vital—teaching that calls for repentance, baptism, and a Spirit-filled life. The council can’t explain the prison break; the people can’t ignore the miracles. When pressed, Peter answers with the line that still divides loyalties: we must obey God rather than men.
Enter Gamaliel, the respected teacher who urges restraint: if this movement is of God, you will not overthrow it. That wisdom reframes our instincts toward outrage and control. We explore how to test spiritual work by fruit and endurance, how to carry the name of Jesus as real authority rather than a slogan, and why house-to-house discipleship makes the church resilient when institutions are pressured. Beaten and ordered to be silent, the apostles rejoice and keep teaching daily, in public and at tables—an enduring pattern for modern witness.
Along the way we connect faith and citizenship without letting politics set our horizon. Use your influence, pray for your city, but keep first allegiance to the kingdom of God. Expect both opposition and joy. Practice a faith that listens, repents, heals, and perseveres in Jesus’ name. If it is of God, you cannot stop it.

M3's own Sis. Audia shares a beautiful story with her granddaughter Presley.
A ten-year-old asked to skip kids’ church and walked into the baptism waters with a smile she couldn’t shake. That moment didn’t come out of nowhere—it grew from a quiet year of prayer, a Thanksgiving kitchen conversation, and simple questions about what it means to invite Jesus into your heart. We share the story from both sides: a grandmother watering a seed with daily intercession, and a child recognizing a holy nudge she couldn’t ignore.
Across the conversation, we unpack how to explain salvation to kids without pressure or jargon, using the ABCs as a guide while keeping the heart front and center. We talk candidly about reading the Bible when the pages get tough—Leviticus, laws, and long lists—and why staying the course matters. You’ll hear practical ideas for helping children meet Jesus in Scripture: start in the Gospels, discover Ruth, Esther, and Deborah, and look for Christ as the thread that runs from Genesis to Revelation. The goal isn’t to check boxes; it’s to know the Author.
Presley’s love for reading and journaling becomes a doorway into calling. We explore how God often nudges through interests already in a child’s life, and how simple habits—keeping a journal, dating entries, writing what arrives unplanned—can help them discern his voice. We celebrate the quiet signs of new life after baptism: a steadier joy, a gentle boldness, and a “glow” others notice. And we end with a warm challenge to families: pray for your kids by name, invite questions, and trust the Holy Spirit to do the deep work only he can do.

We continue our study into "A Simple Presentation in The Book of ACTS - Chapter 5 - Part 2" with Bro. Ernie Perez. A locked prison, posted guards, and empty cells at dawn—then the same preachers back in the temple, teaching like they never left. Our deep dive into Acts 5 follows that breathtaking sequence from angelic release to public proclamation, through a tense council hearing where the apostles utter the line that still unsettles power: we ought to obey God rather than men. Along the way, we explore why the name of Jesus isn’t a tagline but true spiritual authority, and how real doctrine—clear, grounded, and persuasive—turns a city upside down.
We unpack the sharp contrast between Barnabas’ Spirit-led generosity and the fatal pretense of Ananias and Sapphira, showing how holy fear purifies motives and sparks mission. Then we grapple with Gamaliel’s measured wisdom: if this movement is human, it will fade; if it’s from God, resistance is a losing war. That lens helps us test spiritual claims today without cynicism or gullibility, and it anchors a posture of patience, prayer, and discernment. Even after beatings and a gag order, the apostles rejoice and keep teaching daily—both in the temple and from house to house—offering a resilient pattern for public faith and intimate discipleship when pressure rises.
This conversation is for anyone wrestling with how to live boldly yet wisely: pastors who want to preach with clarity, believers navigating cultural hostility, and seekers curious about why the early church grew under fire. Expect honest talk about repentance, baptism, the Holy Spirit, and the nonnegotiable center of Christian witness: the authority of Jesus’ name. We also challenge political tribalism that fractures the church, calling us back to kingdom-first allegiance that dignifies civic engagement without letting it own our hope.
If this stirred your courage or your questions, share it with a friend, subscribe for more studies through Acts, and leave a review with the moment that stood out most. Your insights help shape where we go next. *Recorded on 10/27/2025.

A quiet garden, a heavy heart, and a prayer that still shapes our lives: not my will, but yours. We walk through Matthew 26:36–39 and wrestle with the deeper meaning of Gethsemane’s cup—not only the brutality of the cross, but the shock of felt separation as the sinless Son bears our sin. That moment reframes obedience, joy, and what blessing really looks like when the world pushes back.
We connect Jesus’ surrender to Hebrews 4 and 12, where a high priest who knows our weakness invites bold access to mercy, and the “joy set before him” corrects our appetite for platform and ease. The Beatitudes from Matthew 5 stand against our cultural scorecard: poor in spirit, meek, pure in heart, and even persecuted are not failures but signs of a life aligned with the kingdom of God. Along the way, we talk honestly about cultural pressure, name-only faith, and how to hold conviction without contempt. Herod’s political religion becomes a cautionary tale; covenant faithfulness becomes the goal.
Anchored by Daniel 9, we end with a call to collective repentance and renewed surrender. God was in Christ reconciling the world, which means the cross is not distant help—it is God with us and for us. If Jesus could see the cup, feel forsakenness, and still choose love, then we can choose a cross-shaped life today: pure over popular, faithful over famous, joyful over merely happy. Listen, reflect, and share your takeaways with us. If this moved you, follow the show, leave a review, and send the episode to a friend who needs courage to say, not my will. *Recorded on 10/20/2025

With two of personal "Generals in the Faith", Bro. Ernie Perez and Bro. Mark Ellis, we had to pick their brains!!! You will love this episode! Everybody starts chiming in! We begin to discuss Chapter 5 and then the wheels fall off, and we go into another direction! What if awe returned to the center of our faith—would power follow? We open Acts 5 and find a community forced into honesty by the shocking story of Ananias and Sapphira. The result isn’t terror but reverence, and that reverence becomes a runway for healing, deliverance, and unshakable boldness. People line the streets hoping Peter’s shadow might fall on the sick. The apostles are jailed, freed by an angel, and sent straight back to teach “the words of this life.” No celebrity, no spectacle—just obedience and presence.
From there, we bridge the first-century streets of Jerusalem to today’s digital noise. We talk about AI as a tool that can translate but cannot transform, and we contrast Babel’s confusion with Pentecost’s unity. You’ll hear vivid testimonies of spontaneous languages used to witness and pray, healings that arrived quietly after simple prayers, and moments of precise words of knowledge that only God could give. Threading through every story is a single theme: the gifts belong to the body because the Giver lives in the body.
We push back on the platform mindset and return to Ephesians: leaders equip saints for the work of their ministry. Grocery aisles, hospital rooms, parking lots, and kitchen tables become mission fields when we carry the name of Jesus with humility and courage. If you’re new to faith or hungry to start again, we share a clear path—honest prayer, repentance that changes how you think, and a readiness to obey where you stand. Expect God to speak in the way you’ll hear Him, to meet you in ordinary spaces, and to glorify the name of Jesus through your life.
If this conversation stirred you, share it with a friend, subscribe for more, and leave a review telling us where you’re seeing awe lead to action. Your story might spark someone else’s faith. *Recorded on 10/20/2025
