I'm bringing some hope to you this episode as we've looked at what went wrong for a few weeks, here's an account where things went right! (Kind of)
King Josiah became king at eight years old.
He inherited the worst possible situation - his grandfather Manasseh was the most evil king in Judah's history. The city was filled with violence, child sacrifice, and idolatry. The temple was in disrepair. And God's word - the Book of the Law - had been lost.
But at sixteen, Josiah began to seek God anyway.
We'll be asking: What have you lost that needs to be rediscovered? And what idols need to be torn down?
This is the fourth episode in a six-part series on finishing well.
