A blockchain is a continuously growing list of records, called blocks, which are linked and secured using cryptography. Each block typically contains a hash pointer as a link to a previous block, a timestamp and transaction data.

Blockchains are gaining visibility when it comes to investment, and it has been raising some questions regarding if it is a good type of investment or not.

Blockchain technology has been heating up in the past several months, thanks in large part to the surge in Bitcoin's price since early May. ► The Top 10 Programming Languages To Learn In 2018 ◄

A lot of people ask me about what programming languages they should learn. I found myself in a difficult situation because this is a very hard question to answer.There are a lot of things that need to be taken into account before making a decision, especially when it comes to which programming language you should learn.

Last year's video was very popular. A lot of people found it useful and they got pretty much value from it. Those who followed my advice definitely took benefit from it, being able to boost their careers in 2018 by learning those programming languages.

One of the easiest ways to decide which programming language to learn for 2018 is by listening to the market.

The market will definitely tell you what will be the trending programming languages for the future. We must be aware of the trends and watching the news and the rise of new technology so we can adjust the sails on which programming languages to learn, especially in 2018 with a lot of new things coming up.

Let me be rough and dry here: most developers don't know a s**t about learning and improving their careers. This is absolute truth. And I'm not saying this in a mean way, but as a way to alert most of you about something you've been doing wrong for most of your lives.

Learning something new requires some strictly techniques in order to maximize your potentials, or, you'll be swimming in circles and you'll most likely to die in the middle of the sea.

What should you do if you don't know how to learn programming? What techniques can you implement in order to maximize your learning abilities and get the best time/benefits in your programming career?

► Online Coding Interviews: How Not To Fail? ◄

Nothing can be more terrifying for a software developer than an interview—especially if it is a coding interview on a whiteboard.

Though, with the right preparation and mindset, an interview can actually be something you look forward to as a chance to show your stuff and exhibit your best skills.

I know the above statement may seem difficult to believe, especially if you've had not-so-great interview experiences in the past, but I've also had some pretty horrible interviews in my career as a software developer, and I've learned from those experiences.

This is a new kind of interview that has only really started to appear in earnest in the last few years, but I believe we'll see more and more interviews conducted in this fashion. This kind of interview is much like a phone pre-screen, but instead of taking place over the phone, it will take place over a Skype call, or another video chat equivalent, where you will be asked to solve some programming problems or even do pair programming with an interviewer so they can quickly assess your talent remotely.

How to make sure you'll succeed in an online coding interview? Is this even possible?

DEFINITELY!

What most developers don't take into account is that online coding interviews are not something impossible. You should be ready to do what your interviews wants from you.
