Ski competition! Girls! 90s parties! Girls! Wacky hijinks! GIRLSSS!

What better way to start the new year with a movie that literally has all of that. So today we start with a classic, Ski School, a movie that also somehow has a sequel... so yes we'll be putting that on the Wheel of Doom for September. Oh next month's movie is Future Force so hang around for that one ;)

Dave Marshak (Dean Cameron) and his friends are a pack of highly skilled skiers and devoted party animals. On the slopes, they are known as "Section 8." But their reputation is at risk when a ski school of snobs -- headed by pompous and preppy Reid Janssens (Mark Thomas Miller) -- shows up looking to win the end-of-season downhill competition. Now, the stakes have never been higher because, if Section 8 is beaten, they'll lose more than bragging rights. They'll also lose their jobs.

Despite a best-laid succession plan, tempers flare over Logan's intentions. Kendall Roy, Logan's eldest son from his second marriage and a division president at the firm, is the heir apparent. As Kendall attempts to solidify his eventual takeover, he and the three other Roy children face a difficult choice as company control and family loyalties collide.

It's that time of the season, and there is nothing better then having a murdering Santa spreading Christmas joy and boy oh boy, do we have a good one today. Santa's Slay is a damn good time that's  wrapped up in a cameos and fun moments. Also a few good wrestling and holiday theme killings to ring in the new year.

After a millennium of spreading Christmas cheer, Santa Claus (Bill Goldberg) reverts to his demonic self and gives the gift of fear.

The Snowman cometh! December cometh! The Holidays cometh!! And so does the Christmas Episode of the Simplistic Reviews Podcast. This episode starts with perhaps our favorite sketch of the year with guest stars we've had on throughout the year. We also enter the rectory and ask advice in a brand new Simplistic Confessional With Father Justin Polizzi. We delve DEEP into TV on TV Roundup and finish off with a little Simplistic Switcheroo. The episode is a fine wine of whimsical nonsense. Do I detect oak? Cinnamon? Rants against Disney+? You'd be right.

The start of something beautiful, everyone meet Neil Breen's Double Down. It's not just a movie but a movie  that will put you on a watch list.

A brilliant computer loner seizes Las Vegas and its terrorist attack, while fighting against his fits of clinical depression and obsession for romance and death.
