Some people seem to be confused about who God really is. They have made up some version of God in their head that lacks the attributes and characteristics said in the Bible. They create a god that allows them to gratify their selfish desires without consequences. They think that certain things are permissible because God is a loving God and wants everyone to be happy. Let’s take a look at who God is, what He loves and what He hates.

I think that one thing that we struggle with throughout our lifetime is our identity. What are the things that we stand for? What are the things that we like and dislike? Why is a foundation in God so important? When our identity crumbles we crumble with it. How do we stop that from happening?

Just because you don't see your prayers answered right away doesn't mean that God said no. God knows the perfect timing for everything. We will go through various examples in the Bible where children of God has to wait around for their blessing. It can get discouraging at times but how do we know the difference between God saying 'No' and God saying 'Not Yet'?

Sometimes we pray to God and we feel like He is not listening. There are many reasons why our prayers could go unanswered. Are you praying for God's will or are you praying for your will? Are you walking in obedience or are you living in sin? Are you praying the word of God? Did you pray by faith or did you doubt? Yet another point of contention in the Christian community. You think this issue would be cut and dry but that doesn’t seem to be the case. Can someone be a Christian and support Pro-Choice?
