Romans 13: 3-4

There is a lot of fear in today's political climate. There is also a lot of fear of and for authority. How should we Christians approach authority? Do we have anything to fear from someone in a position to make rules and enforce laws? How about someone keeping the peace? 

Jeremiah 29: 12-13

How diligently are you searching for Jesus? What is your level of effort when you seek after Him? Like most things in life, you get out what you put in. So, how much are you putting in? Are you seeking after Jesus with all your heart? 

Hebrews 10: 24-25

Alright, get ready. Today we discuss a topic that turns a lot of people off from worshiping God. But we will look at the verse most people use and see why the most common logic might not be the best logic. 

2 Timothy 2: 11-13

We were in this chapter last night for our weekly Bible study; naturally I was reading more of it this morning for my own study when I came across this passage. At first it seems very tit-for-tat, and then at the end we are given a curve ball. Jesus will always be faithful, even we turn away from Him.

Micah 7: 7-8

How was 2019 for you? Did you become stronger as a Christian? Did you wait on the Lord and look forward to a home in heaven? What about 2020, do you think it will be better or worse? Are you looking forward to 2020? As Christians, we always have something to look forward to. Though we stumble and fall sometimes, we always have a light at the end of the tunnel. 

Luke 17: 3-4

I noticed something new in the above passage: Luke 17 3-4 has an element of forgiveness in it I had never really considered before. So I decided to revisit the chapter today to bring that point out for discussion!

Who is at the head of your household? Your personal life? Marriage? Church? I think we all know what the answer SHOULD be, but what is our honest answer? 

Colossians 1: 15-17

You ever lost faith in authority before? I know I have; some authority is hard to follow. We know God set forth all authority and that He is in control and holds it all together, and today's verse will highlight that for us. 

Psalms 8: 3-8

Have you ever stopped to consider the heavens? I mean actually look and take in everything around us God has blessed us with? I encourage you to do so, and today we will discuss a passage which may inspire some to go outside and look around!
