I hoped for rhis book to have been more a shool read instead of a general discussion about writing. While it has good topics none are explored in detail. If you are looking for a refresher of a writing class this is not the book for you. It is not a boring listen but it leaves you wanting more.

Great compilation!

The author, Dale Roberts, has put in plenty of effort into gathering teachings from a wide range of spiritual masters, artists, authors, scientists, social commentators and even athletes. This compilation is well categorised and certainly serves as a quick dose of inspiration. I could read some of the quotes every day and not get bored! I am impressed with the authors vision and insight. I just wish there were a few images to engage visual readers like me.
