Biases can be favorable or unfavorable towards race, ethnicity, socioeconomic status, nationality, language, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, geography, and disabilities. These biases might not be the same as our conscious beliefs, but they can influence our actions and perpetuate children’s health disparities.
