Our golden calves represent our addiction to certainty, our need to have a God that doesn’t move. 

It is the sin of certainty to believe that what and how we think about God is right and others are wrong. .

Don’t confuse your faith in God with your thoughts about God, faith in God is not correct thinking about God. .

Faith is about TRUST not beliefs and we have confused trusting God with trusting our beliefs about God. Then when God behaves outside of our beliefs we have a crises of certainty. 

DOUBT IS SACRED it’s good for curing certainty.
