Hey Performers! I know what it's like to doubt your creative gifts as an aspiring singer, actor, dancer, and performing artist. I know what it's like to wonder if you're selfish because you're a professional actor or performer and you truly love your craft - but you wonder if the arts help other people.
Maybe you wonder if the arts are actually useful.
Maybe you feel looked down on because you're an artist.
I wanted to share some thoughts about the questions that might run through your mind when it comes to choosing to be creative!
Here’s a reminder that you don’t have to feel shame or selfishness over your creative gifts. Listen in and let me know what you think in our private Facebook group for performing artists to collaborate and connect!

Hey creatives! Are you in the middle of your journey towards rediscovering and embracing your craft as an actor, singer, or dancer? In today's episode, I open up about how challenging it can be mentally and emotionally when you decide to fully embrace your passions for performing, whether it's acting, singing, or dancing. And I talk about this from a personal standpoint, so we're spilling a little life "tea" 😉. It's hard to share openly about the mess in the middle of this creative journey, but I know if it can help even one person feel understood, then it's worth it. I can't wait to share more life updates with you along the journey, and I hope what I share today reminds you that you're not alone in this journey! If you relate to anything I talk about in this episode, DM me at on Instagram and let me know! I’d love to hear from you!

I have a very special guest on the show today! I sat down to talk to my younger sister about her experiences with the arts so far. We talked about so many things, from singing in high school choir and how much we love Glee to the musicals we love and the impact of creativity on her confidence as a high schooler. And, of course, there are lots of laughs along the way. I hope you enjoy this fun interview!

PODCAST RETURNING SEPTEMBER 2026!
Hi performers! Welcome to the Sing Confidently, Live Creatively podcast, a show for professional and pre-professional performing artists who want to build confidence in their singing!
Are you intentionally pursuing a professional career as a musical theatre actor but your voice is not as powerful or reliable as you'd like?
Do you want to feel confident in your voice at auditions or on-stage, but don’t know how to develop your vocal technique?
Do you wish you could learn how to belt, mix, improve your vocal range, or sing riffs, but you don't know where to start?
I get it! Hi, I’m Estelle, a Professional Singer, Actor, and Voice Teacher in my online studio, Creatively Performing Arts. I also teach and music direct locally in North Carolina at various music studios and theaters!
I grew up performing, but everyone kept telling me to save the arts for retirement or the weekends. So after college, I went to medical school, thinking that was the safest path. But I realized I had those creative passions for a reason and couldn't stay in a career that hid my gifts. So, I decided to leave. Dramatic, I know, but I'm in theatre after all!
After I left medical school, I started a Masters in Music and Music Education at Columbia University (hybrid) and developed my voice intentionally while helping other singers along the way. I began to build confidence in my dreams and my voice beyond what I'd ever known!
I want to help you do the same - build confidence in your singing voice so you can live your creative dreams!
On this show, you will learn how to sing with more confidence, how to train your voice consistently, how to prepare your songs for auditions, how to belt, how to develop mix technique, how to breathe properly as a singer, and more!
You’ll get mindset tips to help you take action on your creative gifts in spite of imposter syndrome, self-doubt, rejection, and fear of what people think.
With incredible guests, from Broadway performers to a Latin Grammy award winner, to local theatre and music artists, and my own current and past experiences, this will be your one-stop shop for all things singing, performing, and creative inspiration! Plus, you’ll hear lots of fun musical theatre references!
Alright choir lovers and theatre-kids-turned-theatre-adults, this is your time.
Start singing with CONFIDENCE today!
