Ephesians 4:1-16; We live for His glory in unity as the body of Christ. Stand unified in the word, one people with one goal, founded in the Word. We need to speak the truth in love, to be a people who know it’s all about Jesus.

Hebrews 10:19-25; We have no right of access to God's throne room, except through faith in Jesus work in the cross. We have hope in his saving power and we love each other, pointing to Jesus as the source of all satisfaction.

Hebrews 3:12-19; We need to submit to God's word and obey, not have an evil, unbelieving heart that tries to justify sin. Because our heart is deceitful, we need to be in a community of believers, we need brothers and sisters to point out our sin (while it is young).

Philippians 4:4-9; The delight of prayer is that we find God through it. Prayer is a calling to be a child and come to the Father. We can have peace that doesn't make sense in the midst of difficulty.

Luke 11:5-10; We need boldness and perseverance in prayer like a disciplined athlete. Don't wait until life is broken to pray. Like a manufacturer's maintenance strategy needs a schedule so our prayer needs to be purposeful, planned, prevalent and personal. Most of all we need to pray.

James 5:13-18; God would have all things turn us toward him in prayer and praise, and toward one another in confession and prayer. This will humble us and make us vulnerable to one another, but there is freedom in living truthful lives depending on God's forgiveness, God's healing, God's power.

Luke 11:1-4,11-13; Hebrews 4:12-16; Father - The maker of all things calls us his children! Humble - God sees all our sin (more than we want) and yet he says come to me (through Jesus). Bold - God is King Dad, but he is Dad.

Ephesians 1:15-23; Look to Jesus, surrender to him, throw off sin, endure difficulties and rejoice in his victory. He is the King, the King who conquers, understands, intercedes for us, will make all things new, and is coming soon.

Colossians 2:6-15; We are owned, loved and forgiven. We must be firmly established in Christ, watching out for deceptions from the world (science, philosophy and human traditions). Our baptism is a symbol of our belonging to Christ. If you are in Christ, he has cancelled your debt of sin in the cross.

Philippians 2:1-11; We admire those who serve others sacrificially. We are called, as a church, to be of one mind striving side by side for the gospel. Unity within the Church, Christ's body, is achieved through humility. Jesus is our example. He who was worthy of our honour and worship became a servant. He is God Almighty 'in disguise'. When will you submit and worship the King? Will you do it willingly and joyfully, or will you be forced to surrender on the last day? Are you looking forward to that day? Are you displaying the humility of Christ?
