On November 21,1987, in Holland, Michigan, there would be a double homicide that would shock a community and make headlines across the state. The Ottawa County Sheriff's Department would have more questions than answers as to who would commit this brutal murder. A young couple, Rick and Gail Brink, would be found murdered at their residence by Rick Brink's parents. There would be no evidence left behind and no signs of a burglary or forced entry into the home. So, without any possible leads, this case would go cold for over two decades. But, in the year of 2011, the Brink's case would be reopened and gain the momentum it needed to be solved. The Ottawa cold case unit would get the big break; they needed from an unlikely witness to expose an unlikely suspect.

Dennis Rader, who took 10 innocent lives in the area of Wichita, Kansas, as the BTK Killer – for Bind, Torture, Kill. He was arrested in 2005 for crimes committed between 1974 and 1991, and is serving ten consecutive life sentences at a Kansas prison.

It was February 3, 2008, in Clearwater, Florida Super Bowl Sunday. Larry Fenton was preparing to watch the biggest game of the year. He told his wife, Rebecca that he would take a nap and order a pizza before the game started. Meanwhile, she leaves to go workout and returns home to find a house of horror. Rebecca Fenton would come home to find her husband on the floor in a pool of blood and their home ransacked from a possible home invasion. But who would want Larry Fenton dead? Without any possible leads and no suspects. This case would be labeled a cold case for almost six years. Until detectives get the big break, they needed to arrest their suspect.

Gary Ridgway (born February 18, 1949), known as the Green River Killer, murdered numerous women in Washington during the 1980s and 1990s, earning his nickname when the first five victims were found in the Green River. He strangled them, usually with his arm but sometimes using ligatures. After strangling the women, he would dump their bodies throughout forested and overgrown areas in King County. He was initially convicted of 48 separate murders. As part of his plea bargain, another conviction was added, bringing the total number of convictions to 49, making him the second most prolific serial killer in United States history according to confirmed murders.

In the year of 2003 Clare Bernal set out to start a new life, as a beauty consultant at Harvey Nichols in Knightsbridge, London. While at work she would meet a gentleman name Michael Pech. A former solider from Slovakia turned security guard for Harvey Nichols department store. Soon, the pair would begin dating. But after dating for only 3 weeks Clare Bernal would quickly end the relationship. The red flags to walk away from Michael would be something that could not be ignored. After Bernal's countless times of rejecting and ignoring Michael Pech's calls and texts his stalking would soon be taken to another level.
