The latest episode of Sistah Sistah, Ow! is delicious! Literally! Zeitlin and YaYa briefly broke free from quarantine to visit Luxor in Washington Heights, NYC. It currently house’s Chef Papi’s Cloud Kitchen. He explains why he created this concept due to the recent world circumstances, that looks to stick around well after the pandemic is over.

The ladies also met with Marìa Helena Hernandez, the New York and New Jersey brand manager for liquor distribution company Royal Wine Corp. She shares yummy info on Aguardiente Cristal’s Ron Viejo de Caldas, what it was like moving to the US from Colombia, and how she worked her way up to boss position while being a super mom to twin girls.

She shares how she went from working for Proctor and Gamble as a chemist to a Spanish translator in a hospital to the owner of Jibaro Fashion while being a mom of two young boys.

Zee and YaYa chat with Latin industry veteran, Andres Hidalgo, better known as Dre 2 Strong. He has helped launch the careers of Aventura, Romeo Santos, Prince Royce, and more in the Urban Bachata world. He gives us juicy anecdotes about the early years of the genre, how he helped shape it into what it is today both creatively and on the business side.
