***Trigger Warning*** (domestic abuse, sexual assault, homicide, violence)
In today's episode, the sisters sit down with long-time friend Ashley Michelle to discuss her tragic experience and how she has found strength through it to heal herself and empower others.
Ashley Michelle has experienced things that she wouldn’t want anyone else to go through, including being assaulted and not only being a witness to a murder scene where her ex-boyfriend had just killed someone she knew, but also having him lock the door behind her and telling her she was next.
She wants want others to look at her and say, because of you, I didn't give up! Thankfully Ashley escaped, but, from that moment, her life has been filled with PTSD, depression, and anxiety. Instead of this taking over her life, she chose to talk about what happened to her, but more importantly, about her healing process so she can inspire people to change their lives after going through their own tough times.
