Today we're talking with Sadie Sutton, host of the teen mental health podcast, She Persisted. On She Persisted, Sadie shares her own experience with depression, anxiety and dialectical behavioral therapy and interviews mental health experts on a broad array of mental health topics including anxiety, depression, PTSD, stress, self-harm and evidence-based treatment. In our conversation with Sadie we cover what led her to form a podcast about adolescent mental health and how the belief systems we adapt can maintain our mental health challenges. We also discuss the differences between our generations in handling mental health issues and how she feels the environment at her college (and Rebecca's alma mater!) can impact its student's well-being.

Divorce is complicated, of course, but the way it shaped our lives was not all bad. Tune in to today's episode to hear the many things we learned throughout the years navigating a different family dynamic.
