1. When you reflect on your life and think about those who believed in you, who were they? What did they do? How did that shape your life?

2. Do you tend to look at others’ flaws and focus on them? What would happen if you began to look at what others COULD BE instead of simply who they are right now?

3. For Paul, the good news of Jesus Christ is the beginning, middle, and end of the Christian life. Take 10-15 minutes this week and focus on the love of God, the victory of God (over evil and sin), and the glory of God in His triumph. How does looking at and pondering His win change you from the inside out?

. What did God say to you through the teaching this weekend?

2. Paul was told in Acts 18; “no one will attack you to harm you, for I have many in this city who are my people.” How does that promise of God’s redemptive nature impact the way we see our city and those who are far from God?

3. Paul came to the Corinthian Church, not as a celebrity, or a great spokesman or a self-help guru, but as a father (1 Corinthians 4:15). How does this family metaphor help shape the ways in which we should interact?

4. How would your view of difficulties, setbacks, or other people’s immaturity shift if you saw situations, conflicts and people the way Paul did? What would it look like to reframe the depravity of the society around us and ask the question, “What does God want to do?” rather than simply critique it.
