With it being national suicide prevention week in the US, I welcome American author Jay Chirino onto the show from Tampa, Florida. This week I sit down with Trimmin' The Stigma's Mike Elias. We sit down and discuss everything Mike has been through with his own mental health and how he has managed to overcome his anxieties. Mike has had people close to him end their own lives and it left him asking the question, why? He is now on a journey of his own along with the team at Trimmin' The Stigma, to do everything they can to encourage others to also speak out about their problems, no matter how big or small and to not keep them locked away to the point where they feel they have only one way out.
