May 18, 2018 #108: The Onslaught Begins
SITREP Radio Episode 108 is here and this week. Things are a little different this week though as Mike is absent, so Rob and Luke take the reigns and serve up more of a conversation than a discussion.

There was an "unofficial" State of the Game this week as Petter and Yannick were live from the broom cupboard to tell us about the final Global Event, "Onslaught". It goes live this coming Monday (21st May) and will run for one week. The Classified Gear Sets on offer this time around are Predators Mark, Lone Star, FireCrest and Reclaimer. There are also 3 brand new masks for us to chase with the new commendations that are inbound with the new Global Event.

SITREP Radio Episode 107 is here and this week Mike, Rob and Luke are talking about the #Rogue29Club initiative that has been spreading across various social media outlets recently. The idea is not a new one, but does seem to have taken on a new lease of life with the recent surge in popularity it is enjoying and #TeamSITREP are not the only content creators out there that are currently playing The Division in this manner.

The idea is simple. Level a new agent up to level 29 and then cease any PvE activity that will reward you with XP. Gear up with as much High End (Gold) gear as you can possibly find within the DZ or the various vendors throughout the world of The Division and then get set for some gun-play focused PvP without a gearset (standard or classified) or an exotic in sight.

SITREP Radio Episode 105 is here and Mike, Rob and Luke are ex-static to present this weeks supercharged episode full of shocking news, spark-ling content and lightning-fast wit. Ok, that last one is a stretch, I know, but we genuinely do believe you'll find this weeks show electrifying.

So the big news this week is that due to connection issues and stability problems during the first day or two of Global Event : Blackout on Monday and Tuesday, Petter and Yannick announced during State of the Game #99 that the team were extending Blackout's running time. This Global Event will now end on May 7th. That's right, we're getting a bonus week to grab up as many GE Credits as possible to finish off those Striker, Tactician, D3-FNC or Dead-Eye builds. Or if you prefer, grind out all three of the Rictus, Vulcan and Panda masks.

April 20, 2018 #104: GE:BLACKOUT, IT’S ELECTRIFYING!
Episode 104 of SITREP Radio brings news of Global Event Blackout will be live from Monday April 23rd through to Monday April 30th, and will cycle through Classified Gear Sets D3-FNC, Striker, DeadEye and Tacticians Authority. There are also 3 brand new masks for Agents to acquire by completing some all new commendations, so next week sounds like being another grindy one.

Just before the lads hit the record button news broke that Deadpool 2 director David Leitch had signed on to direct The Division movie. He is signed on to do another movie first (the Fast and Furious "spinoff") but early reports suggest prep work for The Division movie would begin sometime in 2019. The lads obviously have quite a lengthy chat about this too during the show.

Episode 103 of SITREP Radio looks over the exact details of update 1.8.1, which went live on all platforms earlier this week. Between increases to the drop rate of Classified loot, new Legendary missions and new Global Events, as a free year 3 update this is not too shabby at all.

Mike, Rob and Luke also have a lengthy discussion this week about skill trees, after a very detailed emailed from one of their listeners outlined their vision of how skill trees would work in The Division 2. Would they work in The Division 2? Would they detract from the unique style that makes The Division what it is? How do Skill Trees compare to the loot system that is in-play already? The lads discuss these points and more.

Episode 102 of SITREP Radio brings a recap of the news that update 1.8.1 will be live across all platforms next Thursday (that's April 12th). The lads run down exactly what the new, free, update will bring to players of The Division.

Mike, Rob and Luke also have a lengthy discussion this week about how improvements to fundamentals of The Division could be made in the sequel. Cover-Mechanics, Variations on the grind and PvP Time-to-Kill feature heavily.

The lads also discuss the "rumour" that the guys over at Massive are working on a brand new Battle Royale title, along side working on Tom Clancy's The Division 2 and the Avatar game. They must have some hard working developers over there in Sweden, that is for sure. This story has done the rounds on more than a couple of different websites this work, so while nothing is official and only "sources" are quoted, the lads thought it a good talking point to bring up during this weeks episode.

Mike, Rob and Luke bring you news from this weeks State of the Game broadcast where Petter and Yannick announced that update 1.8.1 (a.k.a Strawberry) would be live to all platforms on Thursday April 12th. The lads also remind you all of what exactly is coming to the game with the latest update.

There was news from Ubisoft HQ this week about how they're looking at their games as more of a live service with extended periods of dedicated support, rather than churning out sequel after sequel. Mike, Rob and Luke discuss this stance from the studio and how they believe it will be a good thing, not only for The Division 2, but for gaming in general.

SITREP Radio proudly present Episode 100. Mike, Rob and Luke are delighted to have made it this far, and just want to go on record that they have no intention of stopping either. Their collective passion for the game and their content is only getting stronger, and with The Division 2 somewhere on the horizon the lads are going to be around for quite a long time yet.

This week, not only was the episode broadcast live over at twitch.tv/sitrepradio, but two of this communities finest members agreed to share in the celebrations. Streamer and fellow-podcaster Orenji iro Sage finally graced the show, as did British streamer Kal. Both have been on the 'SITREP Guest Wishlist' for a while now so it was great to get them both involved in such an important episode.

Episode 99 (that's right, one away from triple digits) of SITREP Radio is a short one this week as the lads go over this weeks short State of the Game broadcast.
