Episode 88 of SITREP Radio is a very special, almost certainly one-off, live episode that was half organized and half open to our Twitch followers to join up and chat, or simply post questions in chat. We'd like to apologize in advance for any lack of audio quality this week, as well as a plethora of cringe-worthy moments, but hey...this is SITREPRadio, you expect these things by now right?

The premise this week was a recap of The Division's Year 2 Content and looking back on what we as a community had received as content over the past year, what we'd like to see from any potential Year 3 and we also have a brief chat about what we think about any The Division 2 rumours/news that have been circulating recently.

December 22, 2017 #87: GE:Strike Outcome and Holiday Fun
Global Event 3 : Strike is over and done with and Mike, Rob and Luke somehow managed to survive the sleep deprivation to record Episode 87 of SITREP Radio.

The lads go through how successful the GE was for them in terms of loot (spoiler: two of them finished all four sets, one of them didn't). They also discuss the new classified gear sets and how powerful they are and their effect on gameplay and build diversity. There is also talk of a Double Field Proficiency Cache event coming up for December 26-28th, as well as new Holiday-Themed Encrypted Caches that are being put into the game with Friday's maintenance and will contain all-new holiday themed vanity items.

And as a quick PSA - Episode 88 will be released as normal next week. We are not having a week off from recording and taking the p*** out of each other just because a fat man in a red suit is in town.

December 15, 2017 #86: GE3: Strike AKA Michael Bay Week
Episode 86 of SITREP Radio is a short one this week as the boys want to farm as much of Global Event 3 : Strike as possible for those sweet sweet Classified Gear Sets.

So, as alluded to in the opening sentence, Global Event 3 : Strike is live and will remain live until Wednesday December 20th. That's an extra day, by the way. That's right, the guys over at Massive realised they had made a timing mistake, meaning the original cut-off point was going to be Monday rather than Tuesday as was expected/promised. So, to rectify this they decided to give us an extra day. Sounds fair - Thanks Massive.

This week's State of the Game broadcast was short, with Petter and Yannick once again at the helm. The focus of this week was dishing out a number of stats relating to in-game activities since the launch of update 1.8, and also the first 24 hours of GE3.

December 01, 2017 #84: Update 1.8 Inbound
Episode 84 of SITREP Radio is focused on the news that 1.8 will be live on all platforms, for free, next week (almost certainly Tuesday 5th December*).

Update 1.8 will bring Camp Hudson (new social space), Resistance (PvE horde mode), Skirmish (4 vs 4 PvP), Rogue 2.0, Underground improvements, Gear Optimisation Station, New Exotic Weapons, Additional Global Events and Additional Classified Gearsets. And yes, this is a completely free update. Now is definitely the time to either come back to the game or pick the game up for the first time. The game has never had so much content, nor has it ever been as balanced as it currently is.

Mike, Rob, and Luke, also look back on this week's State of the Game broadcast which once again featured Terry and Keith from RedStorm. They provided some behind the scenes details as to why they're making some of the changes that are coming to the live game, which gave the community some level of feedback and detail that we'd never had before.

One being we finally get an explanation from the man himself Terry Spier as to why Rogue 2.0 is being left unchanged after the PTS going into Update 1.8.

The guys also discuss should almost a year and eight months, should the Season pass be free for all players and could we see it being free with the base game in the near future.

Mike, Rob and Luke are back to bring you Episode 82 of SITREP Radio. This week there is a bit of news regarding update 1.8, there is a new #IFM, there is plenty of State of the Game chatter and the lads talk about what they have been upto this week.

The main talk of the show, fresh from learning that Update 1.8 won't be with us until "Early December", was the guys taking a good long look at how lucky The Division community is to have the CMs and Devs that we do that interact with us on a weekly, even daily, basis via various mediums. Be it official forums, official streams, broadcasts such as State of the Game or posting on social medias such as Twitter or Reddit, they are regularly up for a discussion or to pass on helpful advice. Mike and Luke were engaged in a twitter back-and-forth with a few other agents earlier this week and they agreed we're probably not going to realise what we have until it's gone. That's why we decided to discuss it on the show this week and let them know we have actually realised and we appreciate them.

Episode 81 of SITREP Radio is here. Mike, Rob and Luke are back once again for more talk about Tom Clancy's The Division while the community patiently wait on update 1.8.

State of the Game did not provide a release date for the new update, which upset quite a few of the community members. The lads actually think this is a good thing though as clearly the patch is not being rushed to release and perhaps they are working on some of the issues/changes that were suggested during the PTS phases. In other State of the Game news Petter was joined by RedStorm's Terry Spier and Reflection's Jim Norris. Primarily The Underground was the focus of the chat, hence Jim's appearance - but talk did stray towards Skirmish, Resistance and Dark Zone. The 'behind the scenes' chat on this weeks broadcast was actually really good, enjoyable and a nice change of pace.

Mike, Rob and Luke also debut a new feature on the show this week - SITREPBuilds. The Guinea Pig for this is one of Luke's PvP builds; by his own admission probably his most fun PvP build - 6pc LoneStar with dual SMG's.

SITREP Radio bring you Episode 80, with a focus on being more positive this week than they were last week.

To remind everyone - update 1.8 is a free update. COMPLETELY 100% free. It is bringing players of The Division brand new map areas (West Side Piers), a brand new PvE horde mode (Resistance), a brand new 4 vs 4 PvP mode (Skirmish), brand new lore, a brand new take on the Rogue Mechanics in the Dark Zone, a re-working of The Underground and new functionalities within the game such as the Optimisation Station. All for free. Yes there might be things that aren't quite to our liking (nor much of the community) such as certain mechanics within the new rogue system "Rogue 2.0" or the ease at which the Optimastion Station can be used to get "God Roll" gear - but the majority of patch 1.8 is bringing the player base more things to do, much of which is brand new. That can only be a good thing for the longevity of the game and for the health of the player base.

Yes we are aware we have been critical of this update previously, and we are critical of certain aspects of it this week too, but that doesn't take away from any of the aforementioned points, nor does it mean any of the three of us are likely to uninstall the game anytime soon.

October 27, 2017 #79: THE END OF THE PTS IS NIGH.....WHAT?
The SITREP Radio crew are back to full strength for Episode 79. The Dollar Flu did not claim yet another victim last week, so Luke is back behind the mic and raring to get stuck into the hot topics of the week.

After a couple of weeks of "secrecy" where the majority, if not all, of Massive's community team went dark while TwitchCon was underway and apparently a series of in-house workshops were taking place in Sweden there was a bombshell dropped during this weeks State of the Game broadcast. It was left to Petter to drop the bomb that PTS3 would indeed be the final PTS phase ahead of update 1.8, and will be closing on Tuesday 31st October 2017.

This took the community by surprise, to say the least. Some are keeping the faith, claiming Massive must know what they're doing, while a lot of others are claiming this is too soon and update 1.8 is not ready considering this is the most content-rich update we have had since launch. Obviously Mike, Rob and Luke get well and truly stuck into this debate this week, as well as chatting over the other drips of news that have come out this week.
