On the Six Figure Trucker, we typically welcome one of the many incredible drivers in this industry as our guest for an interview. But today, we decided to take a different route in honor of Thanksgiving. We’d like to give thanks where thanks is long overdue. Today we honor the men and women of the trucking industry with our gratitude. So to the drivers, dispatchers, mechanics, and many others that make this industry roll, thank you for the sacrifices you make and the services you offer so that the people of this great nation can enjoy the life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness afforded us here. We need more men and women like you, and we're proud to stand behind you.
Happy Thanksgiving from all of us at the #SixFigureTrucker

Huddle up! Every fan of the game of Football knows those two words and their importance. In the huddle, reminders are given, a play is called, and game faces are applied. When that huddle breaks, it’s game time! As a former college football player, our guest today is no stranger to a huddle. In fact, he carries the feel of all those huddles with him each day as he slides behind the wheel. When that diesel engine fires, it’s game time, and Eddie Bray knows he must be ready. Whether it’s rush hour in Atlanta, freezing rain outside of Cleveland, or a distracted driver coming into his lane, the challenges are endless on the open roads. And because he treats every day like a game situation, Eddie is ready! Hear about his unique approach and so much more as we huddle up with Eddie Bray on today’s episode of the #SixFigureTrucker.

Road rage is a problem, and it’s growing. A recent study by the National Highway Traffic Safety Commission (NHTSA) found that fatal road rage-related car accidents grew 500% in just nine years between 2006 and 2015. Unfortunately, that number continues to climb. Over 80% of drivers surveyed in 2019 admitted to an outburst of road rage at least once in the previous year. But we’re thankful that our guest today proves to be an exception. Terry Scott has learned the art of keeping cool on highways full of bad drivers and worse attitudes. He is passionate about saying that you can’t get upset about what you can’t control. His mantra is, “You’ve got to join the club.” To find out what he means by that, tune in to today’s episode of the #SixFigureTrucker.

Successful drivers play chess, not checkers. No, we’re not talking about moving little wooden pieces on cardboard. We’re talking about moving trucks all over our beautiful country, and those who do it best have a plan. Long before they slide behind the wheel, the best drivers have been crafting a detailed plan. They know where they’re going and how they’re going to get there. They have a strategy for fuel, food, lodging, and transportation. They’ve factored in time for delays and inspections. Thus, they’re rarely surprised and always on time. They don’t merely show up and react. No, they don’t play checkers. The most successful drivers play chess. They show up with a plan, execute it with precision, and bring home the Queen’s ransom to boot. We’re pleased to have an over-the-road Chessmaster with us on today’s episode. Eugene Isaac is a ten-year veteran in trucking and a driver who has learned the art of preparation. He’s a man with a plan you can learn from on this episode of the #SixFigureTrucker.

If Guy Fieri is the ‘Mayor of Flavortown,’ our guest today is the Grand Master of Music City. Twilighting as a Chef for Entertainers, Steve Sneed has delighted the pallets of the likes of Lynyrd Skynyrd, Kid Rock, Justin Bieber, AC/DC, and the Beach Boys. Even the King of Pop, Michael Jackson, once made a special entrance to shake our driver’s hand after tasting one of his entrees. And being a chef was his second career! While cooking for Rock Stars on the side, Steve Sneed has enjoyed a successful 34-year career in the trucking industry. We’re thrilled that he joins us today on the Six-Figure Trucker! Steve has a passion for driveaway and loves to share the wisdom he has gleaned over the road. You don’t want to miss a minute of our conversation. It’s one thing to transport trucks all over the country. It’s quite another to transport soldiers in the midst of war. Worries about blowing a tire take on a new perspective when your tires have encountered an IED. Our guest today spent eight years in the Army and was deployed twice to the Middle East. In addition to his military experience, Venson Johnson is also a 17-year veteran behind the wheel in the trucking industry. He’s an expert driver who cares deeply about the reputation of truckers and the industry as a whole. But, it’s his wisdom that stands out the most in this conversation. Venson has learned the value of people over profit and peace over prosperity. He will passionately say that the most crucial asset he can give his kids is his presence and time. This is the kind of maturity that war tends to accelerate. We’re grateful for the service Venson Johnson has rendered to our great nation, and we’re honored to have him on today’s episode of the #SixFigureTrucker.
