Happy New Year Gang! We're back in Klopek Studios to sit down and discuss what's going on with the podcast as we prepare for Season III.

UPDATE #1

Here's a breakdown of the Season III contest:

Try and list as many "Occurrences of Threes" that you can find with all of our main episodes. To keep things fair, you can see the full list of all films at the bottom of the notes, including a preview of Season III. There are a good solid 10-12, but if you can find more, and come out on top with the most, you'll win First Prize. In the event that more than one listener has the same correct amount, then first place goes to who submits their entry first.

1. First Prize: Waterworld Action Figure

Please send your submissions to [email protected]

The contest will end 1 week after the release of final episode of Season III. Good Luck!

UPDATE #2

Please send your Chaser Segment questions to [email protected] . These questions will be managed by Lisa (my wife), who will have them printed out to be read for each of our main episodes. The sooner you can get these submitted, the higher likelihood that these questions will actually be heard on Season III. If no questions are submitted, then Lisa gets to monopolize all of the questions the guys get to answer. And while she may like to do this, she'd also like to take a break.

UPDATE #3

We've moved forward with getting some t-shirts made and those should be available for sale here very soon. Please check our Facebook page for updates and additional details.

SEASON 1

Episode Title: "Make Gotham Great Again" or "Dry Turkey"

Today the guys give the gift that keeps on giving and round out your holiday season with a pair of classics: BATMAN RETURNS (1992) and NATIONAL LAMPOON’S CHRISTMAS VACATION (1989).

Since Travis was not as well-versed in Hollywood actors, here are some helpful images for Nathan’s recasting of Batman Returns:

Olivia Wilde (as Catwoman)

Wes Bentley (as Batman)

Here’s the disturbing image of Patton Oswalt as The Penguin.

Here’s the hilarious College Humor Short featuring Patton Oswalt called Batman vs. The Penguin.

For those interested in watching the documentary Batman & Bill, you can catch it on Hulu.

Christmas Exchange 2018:

This newer version includes the Tangents mini-episode "MERRY CHRISTMAS, BILL FINGER" at the end. Today’s tangents include outtakes of the guys talking about how Happy Meal toys are not articulate enough, a little Bill Finger talk, how Travis loves his cats at a distance of 5 to 6 feet, an alternate version of Superman IV: The Quest for Peace, as well as the final 2 Chaser segments we will be introducing starting in Season III.

A Special Thanksgiving Pick 6 where Nathan and Travis felt it necessary to share their bountiful harvest of favorite Food Scenes in movies. Cubans, lobster, sugar sandwiches... typical holiday fare. Happy Thanksgiving Gang!

LISTENER ADVISORY: Only a few holiday F bombs in this episode that aren’t honked. Why weren’t they honked? They were direct movie quotes, that’s why. So, if Grandma is near, pop in the ear buds... but she’s probably said worse.

We’ll be back in December for a bonus Christmas themed episode!

Films discussed in this episode:

• Chef (2014)
