Episode Title: "What To Do In Transylvania When You're Dead"
Tonight the boys explore the castles of Transylvania in search for Nosferatu - The Undead, with DRACULA (1931) and BRAM STOKER’S DRACULA (1992).
The following are links to things we mentioned in this episode:
The Mid-Atlantic Accent
Travis’s toy collection includes a Silverhawks’ Mon*Star & Sky-Shadow, who looks similar to Gary Oldman’s Dracula in his battle armor.
Put on your reading list this biography: Ed Wood: Nightmare of Ecstasy (The Life and Art of Edward D. Wood, Jr.)
You know how we gushed over the amazing visual effects in BRAM STOKER'S DRACULA. You can watch how they created the in-camera visual effects at the link below:

What is a shart, you say? Click the link here to find out.

Episode Title: "Orchid Fart" OR "Fear and Bonding In Las Vegas"
This is a very special episode of Six Pack Double Feature. Today the old boys are tracking down an international diamond smuggling ring and a stolen spacecraft. It’s the James Bond Super Special with DIAMONDS ARE FOREVER (1971) and MOONRAKER (1979).
Listeners Be Warned: Due to the technical glitches of the this episode, along with the “more than normal” consumption of alcohol by the time they restarted, anytime Nathan refers to a “more grounded” Roger Moore film, and then follows it by saying “The Spy Who Loved Me”, he most certainly meant “For Your Eyes Only.” Blame the Boddingtons, or blame his inability to keep them straight in his own head. Your choice.
Here’s that gawdawful song that Country musician Johnny Cash submitted to Eon productions.
Apparently it was going to be the opening for the James Bond Movie, THUNDERBALL (1964). Rumor has it that it was kicked at the last moment and was replaced. The lyrics of Cash's "Thunderball" describe the film's story. I think this may have worked, if James Bond had been a roaming gunslinger located in the Old West. Maybe. But probably not.
If you’re interested in reading any of Nathan’s blog posts on James Bond, you can read them here: ReBONDing
This newer version includes the Tangents mini-episode "AN $8 LINE OF METAMUCIL" at the end. Today’s tangents include outtakes of where the guys share their one of their worst alcohol consumption stories, how long movie trailers are in the 1970s, disco Moonraker, and what Roger Moore does when he’s a little backed up.

A Mind-Blowing Theory About The Dad From ‘Family Matters’ (Cracked.com)
If you’re curious about the piece of music that played as Travis told this wild fan fiction theory, it’s Glenn Gould Plays Bach: The Goldberg Variations.
If you’re wondering why it sounds familiar, it’s because it was featured in SILENCE OF THE LAMBS.

This newer version includes the Tangents mini-episode "IT'S A SWEATER DICK" at the end. Today’s tangents include outtakes of the guys talking about actor/comedian Anthony Clark, a terrible mic stand, Travis’s homespun fan theories, and knitted genitalia.
