Skincare Teacher Beauty Tips Show with Jana Elston

I have some amazing news for my fans! Going forward, I’ve decided to invite guest speakers on my podcast to talk about various topics and help answer your skincare and beauty questions.

In this episode, I'm joined by Olivia Elston from the Heavenly Feminine podcast, who works at a popular skincare and beauty products retailer. We talk about what it's like working in the retail environment selling skincare and beauty products. She will share some great tips on how to sell skincare without being salesy.

Today I will answer a question from one of my students, Anika, who asked how to get rid of lines on the lips.   

Lines around the mouth and lips can start to form in our 20s and later betray the real age or highlight premature ageing of the skin. Over time the lines can become deeper and more etched making the area appear older. As lines deepen around the lips it can be harder to keep the lipstick in place, as it seems to seep and creep into the lines. So it can be frustrating for women who have deep lines around the lips to wear bright lipstick.  To find out how to smooth the lips and soften or even get rid of lines around the lips, keep watching! How has the Isolation and Covid-19 lockdown affected your skin?

Many people reported that their skin felt dehydrated/dry, sensitive, or congested, and some experienced increased breakouts and acne while in isolation. Why did this happen, what caused it? I have received many questions from my students on how they can care for their skin while in isolation. Students are asking how to overcome some of their skin problems, which was the inspiration for today's podcast.
