A man spends his entire life chasing the next thing, and then the next thing hoping it will make him happy.

------------------------------------

A bit of a throw back story to when I first started writing short stories. This one was aimed at having a clear message kinda like a kids show. It was a fun experiment in the power of repetition. I also wrote it when I really started noticing that I did what this character does. Just constantly chasing the next thing in a vain hope it will make me happy.

This was probably one of my favorite short stories I have ever written. I hope you like it as much as I do! Thanks.

Story time real quick. This story was written in 2019, and then recorded in 2020. However the original recording was done on an iPhone. I did have a massive back log of short story recordings until I went back and listened to what they actually sounded like. They all sound awful. So this particular short story 'The Lake' was rerecorded today on my new actual microphone. All of that is to say, that is why I am almost missing my Monday window. I am also currently working on now rerecording all of those short stories that I feel as though I can no longer use. Wish me luck!

A man is trying to live his life, but a mysterious figure keeps following him everywhere he goes. From his walks late at night, to work, and even the mans own home. Who is this mysterious thing, and why does he want to know what love is?

------------------

Would you look at that! Well, so this is funny. The podcast world is getting this before the website does. It might not be that way if you go check, but when I am writing this, this short story is not on my website, so that is really cool. I guess there is a first for everything. Image for the title is from Pixabay. Here is the link to my website as always https://www.skyindustry.net/ check it out if you are so inclined. I hope you have a wonderful week!

A woman who has lived lifetimes on end returns to the empty hills of Rome. She finds something unexpected, a civilization unlike the world had ever has ever seen. She wanders as time fades around her.

Sorry for the day late release. I am going to be completely honest, I forgot to do it. I will try and do better in the future! Hope you are having a wonderful week!

Crow Stories

This is a short story from the world of AirHeart. In this story a mother tries to save herself, and her son as the entire world feels like it is breaking apart around them. Will they make it out alive?

If you at all liked this story, then you would probably love SkyHeart. My first book and also set in the world of AirHeart. The book is completely free from multiple different sources all on my website 'https://www.skyindustry.net/airheart' It is also on Apple books for free and Amazon for .99 cents. All of those places are linked on my website. Go check it out if you would like to. Have a great day!

Music is firstly "voices" by Patrick Patrikios then "the future is now" by Nathan Moore.

This is the first short story I will be publishing here. It is the story of a man who feels like he does not belong in his society and so builds an illegal rocket to escape and return back to the forbidden planet of Earth.

Crow Stories

Hello, this is an introduction ta da 'Mind ta Paper' podcast. I am from the north, where 'to' is pronounced 'ta', which is why the title of the podcast is 'Mind ta Paper.' Clever dontcha think so? Any how, I am writer, I have written and published one book, aviable on Amazon and Apple Books under the name 'SkyHeart.' The second book in the series is coming out soon as well. However in addition to the books, I also write short stories. I have been struggling to find an effective way to share them and a podcast seems like an excellent way. So that is what I, SW Krueger I'm going to do. I will write, edit, record, and post the short stories I write weekly. I hope you enjoy them! Goodnight, Goodluck, and Don't Get Lost.
