Listen in for a solo episode with Skye. Recorded before the Ironman World Championship in Nice happened, Skye shares some FOMO and excitement for the event. She updates listeners on what training is like for her as she is now 30+ weeks pregnant, and she keeps it real with all the fun house projects she and Matt have been working on to make sure their home is finished and comfortable to bring home a newborn baby. Skye ends with sharing some of the unexpected mental struggles she's experienced being pregnant.
Ben Kanute is a fan favorite professional triathlete, an Olympian, a multiple-time 70.3 champion, a two-time Ironman 70.3 World Championship podium finisher, and a father of two. Ben is in Kona right now preparing for his first Ironman World Championship in October, so Skye and Ben chat a bit about the Kona camp and races this year, and then dive into all things kids and fatherhood as a pro athlete. Ben is so open and honest about his experiences, from missing the birth of his first child while at a race (spoiler: the baby came EARLY), daily duties as a father, making sure everyone in the family gets the rest they need, how he supports his amazing wife Courtney, the Kanute stroller count, and so much more.
Jocelyn McCauley is a professional triathlete, an Ironman and Ironman 70.3 Champion, and a mother of two! Skye and Jocelyn discuss Jocelyn’s journey in sport and motherhood, the financial pressures to return to racing quickly after giving birth, and her birthing experiences at a hospital and at home. Jocelyn also shares how she has had to reframe the challenges of motherhood as positive to help her thrive in professional sport, how she and her husband work together as a team, and body image issues during pregnancy.

Mirinda Carfrae, aka Rinny, is a legendary retired professional triathlete. Rinny was the Ironman World Champion in Kona three times, and when she wasn't winning Kona, she was almost always on the podium there. Rinny had her first child well into her career at 36 years old, and would go on to have two more children. Skye and Rinny talk through Rinny's pregnancies, the mental break from sport, where she was mentally as she returned to sport after her first two children, sponsorship support through maternity, and her three birthing experiences. Rinny shares her thoughts on how important the recovery is after birth before getting back to training, and more!
Skye and Jackie have been racing each other the last five or so years, and now they sit down and talk about life beyond the race course. Jackie is a Ironman and 70.3 champion, a mother of two, and one of her strengths is not overly stressing about things in life (superpower?!). Jackie talks about her traumatic first child birth experience, returning to sport after having two babies in two years, letting go of control by putting things out to the universe, how she and her husband are equal partners in parenting, and even a bit about the art of stroller running. Not an episode to be missed!
