The Otterbachs Arc opens a few days after The Zel's Twin's Arc in what we  like to call "a time jump". During these few days June was called away on a super special mission for Captain Dennison with Bobby Gene and Braith. While this adventure is not important to the Otterbachs arc it was SUPER interesting.
