Trials, temptations, and even trophies will attempt to distract you from standing firm in Christ until the end. As followers of Christ we must stay focussed so that we aren’t swayed from our purpose. Daniel 4. Who rules? It’s so easy for us to convince ourselves that we are the kings of our own kingdoms. We falsely believe that everything rises and falls with us. Whether our circumstances rise or fall, it’s our pride that fools us into thinking that we rule over all circumstances.
