  • The Steadfast Love of God

As we approach Thanksgiving, we often think about what we should be thankful for.  We are quick to thank God for our families and friends, for his blessings in our lives, and for all kinds of things.  But do we often think to give thanks for the steadfast, pursuing love of God?  Psalm 107 begins by saying, "Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good, for His steadfast love endures forever!  This week we will take a deeper look at this Psalm, and why the love of God is worthy of our gratitude and thankfulness.

  • Becoming a Difference Making Church

To make a difference means that we cause a change or have a significant effect on a person or situation. We live in homes, learn at schools, work at establishments, and exist in a world that is full of people who need a change. People who need to experience the significant effect of knowing and experiencing the love and grace of Jesus Christ. In a time in which many churches have closed and many Christians have spiritual lives which have gone cold; we can’t just be a church that exists. We need to be a church that makes a difference. In today’s message Pastor Jeff looks at seven values that can help us become a difference making church.

  • A Countercultural Response to Hate

Whenever we witness or experience hate it stirs emotions within us. The common cultural response to hateful people is to give them a taste of their own medicine. But is that the correct response for a follower of Christ? In this message Pastor Jeff shares how but, most importantly, why, we should respond to hate in a counter cultural way. This “better way” is rooted in the example of Christ and taught to us by Paul in Romans 12.

  • Being Passionate, Hopeful and Faithful in the Midst of Tribulation

What are three things that every follower of Christ should aim to be? Passionate, Hopeful and Faithful is a great place to start. Paul makes it clear to us in Romans 12:11 that we should serve the Lord with passion. In the very next verse he reminds us that no matter what trials may come our way, we should be hopeful and faithful. If you are going through a trial in life, this message is for you.

  • Love, Hate, & Honor

The Bible is pretty clear on some ways to follow Christ. For example, we are frequently reminded in Scripture of who and how we should love. But did you know that the Bible also tells us to hate some things? In this message, Pastor Jeff shares about loving others well, hating that which destroys, and honoring others in a way that glorifies God.

  • You Are Uniquely Gifted

“With great power comes great responsibility.” Most people attribute that quote to Uncle Ben from Spiderman or even the Frenchman from the 18th century, Voltaire. But the roots of that quote go all the way back to Jesus in Luke 12:48: “From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded.” In this message Pastor Jeff brings awareness to the truth that you are uniquely gifted by God and have a great responsibility to use those gifts.

  • Clothed with Humility

If we aren’t willing to humble ourselves, we won’t be transformed by the renewing of our mind. In Romans 12:3 Paul tells us to look at ourselves with “sober judgment.” “What does this mean?” and “what impact will it have on my life if I do it?” are just a couple questions answered in this message by Pastor Jeff.
