  • E159 How to Uplevel Your Mindset with Michaela Renee Johnson, FR EP 292

Reshare of Michaela on the Feminine Roadmap. Learn how to uplevel your mindset. Guest Michaela Renee Johnson is on a mission to uplevel your mindset from a limited mindset to a growth mindset. If you have a limited mindset you may see the world as not having enough to go around or that you cannot do the things you desire to do. On the other hand, a growth mindset says that you can do whatever you put your mind to and there is enough opportunity for everyone. Michaela challenges listeners to evaluate what they are thinking, what kind of energy they put out, what kind of attitude they carry and how that is impacting the world they live in. She encourages us to begin to tune in to the narrative that is running in our heads and identify whether it is a limited or growth mindset. Once we have become aware of the mindset we operate from we can then begin to grow in the direction we want to go. Since change inevitably comes into every life, it is helpful to accept that change can be hard and uncomfortable but necessary for us to grow. So if you find yourself in a place where you are curious about where you are and where you could possibly go in your mindset, join us. Grab a cuppa something wonderful and get ready to uplevel your mindset.

  • E158 Mind your own biscuits and life will be gravy
We're talking about important things, 1. having a lot of dreams and plans but only a few things you're focused on. 2. Minding your own business and not getting caught up with what other's are doing (keeping up with the Joneses). 3. Having a circle of people who are clapping for you. 4. Why the word "AND" is important verses "BUT." Also the whole idea that sometimes we're bored and angry with what we're doing in life because we're doing things for someone else.

  • E157 Why the "automated grocery check out" is making you miserable

Automated phone systems, no clerk at the checkout stand (you know you've had something that didn't scan or you couldn't buy alcohol). Stick with this episode for the first 3 minutes, it gets to a point. Technology is only good to a point. The Anonator joins Michaela in this episode about losing our humaness and how it's making us miserable.

  • E156 Are you a narcissist?
Ha, got your attention. If you're asking yourself that you're probably not, but you might be in a relationship with someone who is "less emotionally mature." It seems narcissism is on the rise, but is it? More and more people are waking up to toxic relationships no doubt and leaving one of these relationships in the words of Doctor Ramani is like "hugging a porcupine, you've got to do it carefully."
In this episode you'll get to meet Tony Overbay, a marriage and family therapist who helps couples and families who are Waking Up To Narcissism (podcast) and the Virtual Couch (podcast). You'll walk away with insights and tangible tips on how to move forward in this.
Tony spent ten years working in the software industry before returning to school in his early 30s to get his master's in counseling, and he has been working as a therapist for the past 18 years. Tony’s first book, “He’s A Porn Addict, Now What? An Expert and a Former Addict Answer Your Questions,” has been a best-seller in the Sexual Health and Recovery category since its December 2019 debut. Tony recently released the “Magnetic Marriage” couples communication course and is the creator of The Path Back, an online pornography recovery program that has helped hundreds of individuals turn away from using pornography as a coping mechanism. Tony released the award-winning “The Virtual Couch” podcast in August of 2017, and he has over 350 episodes and 5 million downloads and counting. Tony launched “Waking Up to Narcissism” in October of 2021, and it has regularly found its way into the top 50 podcasts in the “Mental Health” category on the Apple Podcast charts. Tony’s latest podcast venture is an enhanced audio podcast of his best-selling book “He’s a Porn Addict,” with his co-author, Joshua Shea, joining him as co-host.

Tony has testified in several court cases on narcissism. He is currently working on two books, one on his “Emotional Baseline” theory and one on navigating a relationship with a narcissist/emotionally immature person in one's life.
Tony has been married to his high school sweetheart for 32 years, and he has four adult children, ages 18, 20, 22, and 24. Tony is an avid runner, and he has completed over 150 marathons and ultramarathons, including over a dozen races of 100 miles or more.

  • E153 Is dirty sex okay in the eyes of God? What's the connection between the 3rd eye & the mark?

Songs of Solomon give us insight to just how dirty sex can be. Did Eve have sex with Satan (ate the fruit) while Adam watched (threeway) - is Cain of Satan's seed and Abel of Adam? It's time we stop looking at things in this world through rose colored glasses, it's time we realize that there is a spiritual war happening on the planet. We're not afraid to watch R rated science fiction, why are we afraid to talk about the Bible and the New Age in the same tone? In this episode, biblical scholar and scientist -yes scientist Dr Joy Pugh shares her insights to the new age, the mark of the beast, and what it means to truly "help yourself" in these days. Dr. Joye Jeffries Pugh is an alumnus of South Georgia College, Valdosta State College, and Nova University where she received her doctorate in education. Her background involves working as a researcher, counselor, mental retardation professional, human services director, and consultant. Dr. Pugh appears in several television documentaries on the HISTORY Channel concerning end times. Dr. Pugh's complete biographical history is featured in Who's Who in the World, Who's Who in America, Who's Who in American Women, Who's Who in the South and Southwest, Who's Who in American Education, and Who's Who in Georgia.

  • E152 Why your life will be better if you spend less time talking and more time listening
What's the secret to happy relationships? Shut up. We spend a lot of time formulating our retort and talking at people, filling any silence that presents itself. Why do teenagers commit suicide? They don't feel heard. What the secret to good hostage negotiations, listen.
Dr. Mark Goulston comes on the pod to share why you need to "just listen." He is the world's leading healthy conflict coach and is the author or co/author of nine books that have been translated into 40 languages and with his book, "Just Listen," becoming the and top book on listening in the world.
