On this episode, Rob talks about his latest pickups in the Vintage Card World. Over the weekend he bought iconic rookie cards of Wilt Chamberlain and Hank Aaron. There are definitely differences with cards that are from the 1950s and 60s and Aamil and Rob discuss the thought process. We talk about seeing grade of the card differently than just targeting PSA 10s as we are all accustomed to caring about so much and what the vintage market looks like when trying to resell the cards.

Flipping cards can definitely be risky, but there is a lot of fun in trying to be right. Ultimately, that's the catalyst that makes buying cards of active players a lot of fun. You can make a Sports Card "bet" on what you think what might happen and/or how you think people will react to it and if you're right, chances are you will have an opportunity to make some money on a card. We talk about buying a player when it doesn't feel good like Kyrie Irving or Zion Williamson this season. We also talk about whether or not the narrative around Kevin Durant can change, making him more collectable.
