Erika dreams on the cellular level, or perhaps of transdimensional intelligences moving through strange patterns on celestial objects, working towards a mysterious goal. Her connection to the dreamworld becomes concrete in her approach to music, simultaneously so solid and yet so ethereal. Erika still finds time to accomplish many things in her waking hours, such as being a member of Ectomorph, co-conspirator of Detroit's Interdimensional Transmissions record label, DJing and making music with her pet machines. Her freeform streaming radio station erika.net was one of the very first iTunes presets, running 24x7 for 17 years from 1999 to 2016. Prior to that, Erika was very involved in WCBN-FM Ann Arbor, as a freeform and jazz DJ, and Program Director.

Veronica Vasicka is possibly one of the most important label owners and DJs in the underground electronic industry. As a woman, the impact of her work and continual influence has positioned Minimal Wave as a repository of assorted auditorial gold. Vasicka’s label and work as a DJ has provided some of the most iconic and memorable tracks the underground which dominated our minds and bodies for nearly two decades. Today, Minimal Wave and its sister label, Cititrax have brought us In Aeternam Vale, Marie Davidson’s Adieux Au Dancefloor, Oppenheimer Analysis, Martin Dupont and Deux to name a few. It is without doubt that Minimal Wave’s Veronica Vasicka is underground royalty and will continue to inspire fans and artists alike in years to come

At the invitation of Lack Rec and Magic Power back in 2018, Berlin’s DJ Spit emerged as a new talent on the ground pushing a hybrid of electro and tribal techno battering at the edges of gabba, acid, trance and amen-infused breaks.

His dangerously fast style has been pounding the rooms of Berlin clubs like Griessmuehle, Tresor and Berghain’s Säule, defining a hardcore streak of intensive club music meddling with the extremes of hard dance.

With appearances at Jaded’s after hours raves in London, a Boiler Room session at Leipzig’s Distillery, and other venues across Europe, Spit’s sound has proliferated online with guests appearances on Rinse FM France to mixes for the Uncanny Valley podcast, Lobster Theremin and Voitax labels, to a live recording from Reaktor in Amsterdam.

Currently taking up a residency deep within the badlands of Denmark’s fast-techno scene at Copenhagen’s Endurance party, Spit will launch his own label Verteiler later this year. Unapologetic rave for the times.

A key figure in Russian techno community, Nastia Reigel started out by throwing illegal dance parties in Siberia and continues in St.Petersburg, launching the first-ever queer parties Грань (Grahn’).

In between, she spent years accumulating mixing techniques and selection skills, along with a busy touring schedule. Her second vinyl release Disarm To Surrender will out next week on Enemy Records. April of 2020 will see her appearance on Token.

As a multidisciplinary artist, Nastia has written music for several art-house films, and released a post-punk album under Rosa Damask alias on Hospital Productions label.

Head Front Panel is an alias of John Heckle which focuses primarily on live techno. The record label of the same name, initially an anonymous series, has run from 2014 as a sub label of Tabernacle Records. HFP has since appeared on Perc Trax, Pushmaster Discs and Beardman. HFP live has toured since late 2014, after debuting at Tresor Berlin.’

P.Leone is a musician, DJ and producer hailing from South Brooklyn, New York. He started DJing when he was 20, with the clubs of the Lower East Side proving a fertile stomping ground for his blend of hip-hop, experimental and disco. As his tastes developed, he soon immersed himself in the city’s renowned house and techno scene, with Frankie Bones, Adam X, Derrick May and Dave Clarke among those who would make a lasting impression.

Refracted’s music feels as fundamentally human as it sounds otherworldly. It is techno more as an idea and conduit, than as an easily- labeled sound. It is dance music where layered rhythms act almost on a neural, sub epidermal level, while moving and evolving soundscapes acquire a tactile, understated physicality.
