Prequel Tapes is a work of deep synthesis. Fragments of melody and memory orchestrated into densely layered tapestries; a deeply emotional study on a life characterised by a shifting relationship to electronics. The pieces serve as a chronology of desire and reflection, reconciling a nascent passion for industrial music with a history in the club.

Having released on his own label Rave Selekts along with fellow Irish talent Casper Hastings and then attracting the glistening ears of Resident Advisor and DJ Mag, who both premiered tracks from his first solo EP that took different aspects of his adolescence in Rush and reimagined them in four tracks that touch on ambient, rave, techno and break beat in what was easily one of the most interesting releases of the year on an international scale. Following on from the success of his debut vinyl release on Haven last year, his next Haven release is just as banging, but represents a new turn in the young producer’s sound with greater focus on hardcore euphoria, released November 22nd
