    Slam the Gavel welcomes Jacqueline Ballard, a mother and grandmother and her daughter, Danielle Ballard to the podcast. 
     Their fight for justice began when Magistrate Kelly Starritt, told one lie in family court in a custody battle. After Jacqueline and her daughter Danielle, called out that lie, Magistrate Kelly Starritt retaliated in the worst possible way. 
     Despite thinking they were safe, authorities ambushed them, holding the family at gunpoint, kidnapping the children, and taking Jacqueline and her daughter to jail without any legal justification or Due Process.  
     Ever since, they've been fighting relentlessly to expose the truth and seek justice in a system that has worked against them at every turn.

We discussed what's really happening to children and their parents in the family courts of Forsyth, Davison, Wake, Orange, Stokes, Cabarrus and Nash Counties of NC.
    Each parent described the atrocities they have suffered at the hands of the North Carolina family courts and their judges who allowed their children to be sent to abusers. No contact orders, Gatekeeping orders, visitation centers and reunification costs were discussed as well positive solutions.
     The heartbreak doesn't end here. There are 100 counties in North Carolina. In those corners of each county lurks the filth of greed at the expense of good, fit families and their children.

   We discussed ASFA and the rights of the parents and financial incentives (Title IV-D, Title IV B and E as well as adoption incentives.Parens Patriae (in Latin: parent of the nation) was discussed and that it is a fundamental right to raise your children, however this is not always the case. Ray explained, "that children in foster care are twice as likely to be assaulted and the tax dollars are helping fund this."

    Slam the Gavel welcomes Helen Pattichides to the podcast. Helen immigrated legally to America in November, 2008 with her spouse and children. Going through the proper channels that took two years to immigrate, Helen and her spouse did this in order to take the reins of their own company in America called, Vision Builders USA. However, her spouse hired an immigration attorney, in Charlotte, NC. This is when the law firm of James, McElroy & Diehl, P.A. became involved. Soon Helen found out why taking the kids was not enough.....
      We discussed the concern of the family court and how it applies to the rights of the children. "These law firms are an institution, taxpaying registered business it is not the law and not the judiciary. Yet they control the retainers, then ultimately dictate what the lawyers can do which is nothing, and how it's become a massive tax evasion strategy," Helen explained.
     The obliteration of parental rights and the rights of the child, special interest groups, American Bar Association, The Hague Convention, the American Psychological Association and CPS were discussed.
    Helen discussed her case 09-CVD-30674 and how it is still going for the last 16 years and is not concluded.

    Heather Grier, a 44 year old mother, left behind a nine year old child. They were the ULTIMATE VICTIMS of the family court injustice and extortion scheme. Heather always wanted to get her story out so this won't happen to anyone else.
     This is why Attorney Josh Douglass and Alicia Wichmann are speaking out today on the travesty of Orange County NY. Judge C. Krahulik handled Heather's case and is now up for re-election, unopposed in November. She is also being investigated.

    Slam the Gavel welcomes Charity Marie and Todd Frandsen to the podcast. Todd Frandsen is an innocent father that has been alienated from his son after filing a modification to their visitation. Soon after, false allegations of physical abuse turned into more sinister claims of abuse. They found Todd guilty with NO EVIDENCE of crime and was sentenced to 25 years to life in prison. Todd was able to get a reduced sentence to 20 years due to no criminal past and his age. Todd is serving time in an Arizona Private prison.

     Slam the Gavel welcomes Bob and Laura Domek to the podcast. Laura Domek is an American State National living In Jefferson, Kentucky. CPS kidnapped their children. Following that, court allowed the biological father to see the older two children after he had been absent for eight years AND signed over his rights AND it was against CPS aftercare recommendations. Their case began in 2/2022.
    Laura discussed how Judge Dawn (Gray) Lonneman-Blair took their parental rights away while they weren't at the hearing, but were on the phone. Laura will also tell you how the judge hung up on her at the hearing when she wanted to record as she questioned if this would be on the record at all. Their daughter was placed with a relative 3-28-2024 after being in five previous foster homes. They were paying $120.00 an hour for SUPERVISED VISITS. At present time they have no contact with their daughter.
     Having their children removed abruptly with NO CLOSURE has been the worst for these two parents that are the salt of the earth. Laura Domek recommends to not let CPS in, and, "we are not going away and not giving up."

Slam the Gavel welcomes Isabella Reyes Alfano to the podcast. She has been going through an adversarial divorce because of the nature of the various TRO and FRO's, domestic violence and child endangerment issues which caused the family to be reported to DC PNP (CPS). Under the care and custody of DC PNP, her spouse's behavior did not improve for two years. Law enforcement and CPS watched as he didn't comply with judicial orders that were put in place. Isabella Reyes Alfano is sharing her experiences she's had to go through especially Title 9 and Title 30 process, advocating for her children not to be put into the foster care system.
    Supporting the Kayden's Law bill S2337 that has been introduced and currently in committee in the state of New Jersey. The bill is giving the support needed to provide the protection for family that are at risk and a system that is financially INCENTIVIZED to FUEL CONFLICT.
