The Halloween season has officially begun, and what better way to celebrate than discussing the sequel to the greatest slasher of all time. Michael Myers stalks his way to Haddonfield Memorial Hospital and lets Laurie Strode know the nightmare isn't over yet. If you like foul-mouthed EMTs, hot tub action, and syringes to the face, then this just happens to be your lucky day. 

This week the guys at For Nerds By Nerds Podcast stop by for a slumber party. We do a live watch and review of The Slumber Party Massacre, and there are just so...so many questions we need answered. If you're a fan of power drills, group showers, and eating pizza off of dead delivery boys, well then you've come to the right place.

This is it, Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter! The death of Jason...the end of a franchise...no more Camp Crystal Lake...for almost an entire year. Why do films want to play with our emotions? It's a very magical evening as we host our first Prom Night in Slash City. JLC returns as our final girl for the 3rd time and she has some new moves to show off! Let's crank up the disco, follow a handful of red herrings, and find out who would dare knock off one of my all time favorite side characters, Slick. This is a prom you'll never forget, if you survive... 

Hell hath no fury like a G.I. scorned...or something like that. This week we're talking killers in camo, graduation dances, and a barrage of impressive deaths in 1981's The Prowler. This film acts more as a Tom Savini kill reel than an actual movie, but he does not disappoint. We walk through the "plot" of this classic slasher, then turn our attention to the master of special effects himself. We talk Savini's filmography, his most infamous kills, and where his true passions lie. Stop on by Slash City and pay homage to the grande illusionist of horror.

This week we're back at camp once again, but this time it's Camp Arawak. We're talking one of the great hidden gems of the Slasher Golden Age in Sleepaway Camp, and I think we have the balls to give it justice. If you haven't watched it before, I highly suggest getting a viewing before you listen. Some experiences should be seen, not heard. Swing on by after and let's talk a film with some creative kills, potty-mouth kids, and an ending that will shock you to the core.

Coming at you in 3D, it's time to visit Jason down on the farm! This week we discuss Shelly, Jason getting his iconic mask, strange 80's biker gangs, slashers who love to play hide n seek, and so much more. If Covid's got you on lock and you're feeling the cabin fever, sneak on over to Slash City where we can try to figure out why Steve Miner feels the need to have not one, but two poop scenes in this film. 

Happy Friday the 13th to all of our Slash Citizens out there!!! This week we switch it up and in honor of our holiday we play a slasher trivia game. This week we bookend the Golden Age of the slasher with A Nightmare on Elm Street. TJ and I break down the film, discuss Nancy as an all time great final girl, and what makes Freddy Krueger so damn fun! We run well over 60 minutes this time, so throw on a pot of coffee and never sleep again!!!
