However, in recent years, Slenderman seems to have appeared in more than just horror stories online. Slenderman has allegedly been seen stalking, abducting, or traumatizing people, particularly children. Some readers of Slenderman’s story have been connected to several violent acts, including the true crime story of a near-fatal stabbing of a 12-year-old girl in Waukesha, Wisconsin.
