Sef, Malar and their new ally Fleeting Look enter Halfrach, looking for allies to help them clear the rockfall where the Ambassador seems to have gone missing. Will a reformed party boy Dwarf, a pyromaniac High Elf and a highly strung Half Elf be a help or a hindrance? Plus, all does not seem well in the Halfling village. There's something distinctly off about the Warehouse on the edge of the village, but why so secretive?

We rejoin our withdrawn Half Elf Sef and socially laborious Loxodon Malar, recovering from their rat encounter. Deacon Malar has been awaiting the arrival of an Ambassador from The Crow Flies, but she has yet to make an appearance. Fearing the worst, and also with other agendas in mind, they elect to venture out to find out what happened to her. But to do so, they're going to need help. Meet the five starting heroes for Slice and Dice's first campaign in The Manylands. Starting with Malar Shadecreek, the Loxodon Cleric (half man, half elephant - from Guildmaster's Guide to Ravnica); Sef, the 'Half-Elf' Rogue... so mysterious, even his race is in doubt; Fleeting Look, the (TURQUOISE!) Tiefling Paladin, bringing justice and hilarity in equal measure; Naeris Arradel, the fancy-named, closet pyromaniac High Elf Sorcerer; and Brukon Rumbleguts "Ree", the frat-boy mid-redemption Hill Dwarf Monk!
