The Slimehouse Crew returns to the Space Jam for A New Legacy... of IP. We discuss the new sequel to Space Jam, its development hell backstories in the 25 years it took to finally make the movie, and most importantly: whether the film carries on the grand Slime tradition of its predecessor.

Covering both a brand new release and its infamous predecessor, the enigma that is The Boss Baby, Alec Baldwin's meme-worthy role that became a surprise hit and a sleeper Oscar nominee in 2017. The series is back for more with "Family Business" now in theaters and streaming on Peacock Premium (who we'd welcome as a sponsor). Joined by Peewee Hermeneutics, we get into the slime merits of these neo-slime pictures, one of the most iconic moments in the entire Slimehouse genre, and the icky subtext that runs throughout the messy sequel. Oh, and plenty of business lingo!

"Hey, teacher! Leave them kids alone!" The Slimehouse gang kicks off the Summer of Slime with a Season 3 premiere discussion of Disney's Recess: School's Out. Along the way, we touch on Summer's role as the ultimate Slimehouse playground, the potential limitations of animation in Slime aesthetics, badass senior citizens, and the film's surprisingly moving depiction of adulthood. 

The Slimehouse crew looks back on the first two seasons of Slimehouse to reflect on the evolution of this series, as well as offer some revisions to Slime Scores and shout out listeners around the globe.

For this month's Slime Shuffle, the boys have landed on 1987's Three O'Clock High. The dark teen comedy is often forgotten, but influential on the peak Slimehouse narrative framework and visual perspective, despite its more mature voice and thrilling tone.

Celebrating Nelson's birthday with a blast from the past so diculous it's re-diculous! Meet the Deedles is a Disney produced diamond in the rough featuring a young Paul Walker and Steve Van Wormer as The Deedles, a boneheaded surfing duo who find themselves landlocked in Yellowstone National Park, and after a mistaken identity, find themselves put in charge of stopping the local prairie dog infestation. This movie is truly something else, and has been largely forgotten by time, but holds up some pretty key parts of the Slimehouse genre in its mayhem, making it a must for Slime fans.

"It's not a tumor!" The boys are joined by Schwrarzenegger aficionado Cole Sadler (AKA Peewee Hermeneutics) to tackle Ivan Reitman's action comedy classic Kindergarten Cop. In this wide-ranging conversation, they discuss the birth of the "Big Guy, Little Problems" subgenre of Slime, the decline of movie action involving children, and this film's crucial place in Arnold's development as a movie star. 

"I'm going to Disneyland!"

Slime Shuffle strikes again! This time, the random selection landed us on 2007's Balls of Fury, a late August release that was panned by the few people who bothered to see it. Since it was a new discovery for each of us, we get into how it does (or doesn't) resemble slimehouse, and the contingency of "Frat Pack" and Tenacious D inspired comedies of the late 2000s that were once ubiquitous and now harder to find.
