SlothBoogie Podcast

DJ, producer and label owner LB aka LABAT is an avid record collector and he uses them to craft music of his own with his MPC’s and other vintage gear. He signed with Mall Grab’s well respected label «Steel City Dance Discs» in 2020, and is about to release a second project on the imprint in 2022.

At the beginning of 2021 LB aka LABAT toured around Europe with a brand new analogue live show which featured 3 x MPC’s and lots of big 303 acid bass lines. A new adventure is starting for him this year with the launch of his own imprint Poumpet Records which will see him challenge himself to release a track every month for a whole year.

Ravanelli Disco Club is a Disco House label based in Marseille. The label was created in 2019 by Gordon Zola & Jack Jefferson and since then artists such as Jimpster, Cody Currie, Joe Corti, LTJ Xperience & Scruscru have all released their music with the crew. In the mix you will be able to hear past, present and future cuts from the imprint including forthcoming jams from Retromigration & Ron Basejam.

RAW SILK is the alias of best pals Grace and Steph, an ode to one of their favourite 80’s boogie groups. After meeting & spending one glorious year of dance in Melbourne in 2016, back in London these two continue voyaging to all four corners of electronic music. What began as a monthly party in Peckham has now led to DJing across the globe & in their hometown, recently with a residency at Heavenly home The Social. Grace has worked at record shops Plug Seven & The BBE Store, and alongside Steph’s work in production, RAW SILK are becoming known as eclectic selectors that play across the board. They know how to add in a few surprises and always keep you moving. Grace and Steph have been residents for much-loved London boogie crew Percolate since 2017, and recently saw them go back to back with the SB team at our new home in Tola, Peckham.

DJ to some of London’s best nights, a classically trained musician and long-time face of Soho’s legendary Black Market Records, Hilit Kolet is the need-to-know artist ready to take the world by storm.

German-born and Amsterdam based Retromigration has been carving out a name for himself in the last year by producing a refreshing and raw sound in his music. With only a handful of releases by established labels like Wolf Music, Rhythm Section and Handy Records, the German producer and DJ with Nigerian and Ghanaian roots has already made waves and is quickly cementing himself as someone to watch. From a young age music was omnipresent in his life and after learning how to play the bass and starting to play classical music at a young age he moved to Jazz, Hip-Hop and House music... which is represented in his productions and DJ sets alike today.
