How has another week gone by already?! Well it's because days no longer mean anything when you're in full lock down mode. Luckily we've got @DemiRiquisimo providing us with his isolation selection and the Semi Delicious label owner knows a thing or two about a tasty Disco and House treat. March 20, 2020 SlothBoogie Guestmix #228 - Ian Pooley
For all the latest SlothBoogie Merch and Records - https://slothboogie.com/
Helping us to keep our sanity for a little while longer this week is the Berlin based veteran @ianpooley. His perfect blend of classic and contemporary sounds in his DJ sets and productions have made him one of our favourite artists over the years. Pooley’s house tracks invariably endorse a deep, rhythmic sound while exuding warmth and authenticity. His career has spanned a good couple of decades now and he's released some stellar records on his own Pooled Music but also with Innervisions, Ovum and Tsuba to name just a handful. His latest 'Good Things' EP on Cassy’s Kwench records is yet another jam from his extensive discography.
We are extremely happy to welcome him into the SB guest mix series so get stuck in, turn it up and forget about your troubles for a while.

We've always been fans of his musical taste and productions so its great to hear what he put together especially for our mix series.
The world might be falling to pieces around you right now but at least it'll sound lovely for the next hour. Enjoy your weekends folks and look after each other!

February 28, 2020 SlothBoogie Guestmix #226 - Moment Cinetique
Up this week is a good friend of SB; a label and man that has hooked us up with many a tasty premiere and a fellow lover of that dusty lo-slung house sound. Moment Cinetique are a Deep/House/Disco record label hailing from Sheffield, who will soon be celebrating their second birthday. Over the last two years they have put out tracks by a close group of emerging producers such as Intr0Beatz, Kolja Gerstenberg, Cleanfield, Reece Johnson and established names including Cody Currie, Tilman and Felipe Gordon, with these releases featuring in sets, mixes and charts by DJs like Detroit Swindle, Luke Solomon, Fouk and many more.
In March they release their fourth vinyl EP from up & coming London based DJ/Producer Last Nubian featuring remixes from Harry Wolfman and Carlo. Then in the new future there is a remix package coming out from Sweet Fruity Brunch and Selva featuring new remixes by Vagabundo Club Social and Kevin Over.
Djing wise owner Dave Platts plays out under the label name with a mixture of dusty house, deep, disco, edits and vodka Red Bull. The mix is a mashup of tracks by label artists from other labels, a couple of unreleased tracks and includes the two remixes from Moment Cinetique's upcoming vinyl release.
