Tonight's very special guest is Tyler Isbister, originally from Alberta and now resides in the Antigonish area in NS. We discuss Tyler working in the restaurant industry for many years and how he has worked with many well-known Canadian celebrity chefs. Having represented Alberta in the Western Canadian Summer games at Softball and how an injury ended his playing career. Tyler tells us about how he had started down the wrong path as a young man. He lost his confidence and slipped into depression. Then running helped Tyler get back on the right track, instead of using drugs his running would be like a drug for him. Tyler has been on track for quite some time and he is involved in community runs and has a plan to try and develop a youth drop-in centre, something desperately needed. We also chat about being a product Ambassador and I have to agree this could be a nice way to help keep costs down. This year Tyler is really focused on Backyard Ultra and we can't wait to see him pull it off, it will be an epic year.
