When I was a kid, I always wanted named brand sneakers. All the kids in my neighborhood wanted only one sneaker, Converse aka Chuck Taylors. We sported our Chuck Taylors in different colors and different color laces. I loved the white Chuck Taylors with fat red laces. Getting those white Chuck Taylors dirty was a big no no.

So where were you when the world came to a screeching halt? I spent the morning in worship and having birthday breakfast with my beautiful daughters. That was the last day for several months that I was able to enjoy an outing in a restaurant. So what did I do? Although the pandemic is horrific, it taught me how to become more resilient, focused, and prepared. I gained new skills, built better, healthier, and stronger relationships and got in better shape.
