Smaaht Side Sports

On this episode of "The S3" JD breaks down why the MLB Hall of Fame needs to stop trying to be the judge, jury, and executioner for all MLB players and go back to being a historical museum for all baseball stories and greats.  He discusses who he would vote for in this year's HOF ballot, and why Pete Rose should be in.  Also, Andrae Thurman stops in to discuss Wild-Card weekend in the NFL, the NFL MVP, and next week's National Championship game for College Football!

In this episode, JD talks about the big moves the Diamondbacks have been making to become contenders in the NL West, issues/non-issues in Philadelphia, the Army/Navy rivalry game this weekend, Jerry Colangelo joining the 76ers, the college bowl schedule, and JD's Smaaht Picks of the Week!

On today's show, I had the privilege of talking to former Green Bay Packer Wide Receiver, Andrae Thurman.  We discussed his work within the community, with ThurmU, and his company, Thurmanetics.  We also get his take on the NFL concussion protocols, and what he think will be the backlash for Roger Goodell once the new movie, Concussions (with Will Smith) is released in movie theaters.  I also talked about the David Price monster signing up in Boston, Kobe Bryant announcing his end of year retirement, and what it takes for me to acknowledge who constitutes the title of "best ever."  Also, I give my Smaaht Picks of the Week for both college and NFL games this weekend, and what life achievements would deserve a Cam Newton "dab."

In today's episode, I talk about Ronda Rousey and why people need to give her a break.  I also talk about why coaches shouldn't be fired only 11 games into an NBA season, the Greg Hardy issue, and the two remaining undefeated teams.  I also discuss who else could be NFL MVP (not named Newton or Brady), the Arizona Sports Report, ASU/UofA rivalry game this Saturday, and my Smaaht Locks of the Week!!
