Small State Big Takes

Who the fuck knows! It's another SSBT episode where we talk about whatever the hell comes to mind. You know the deal!

A now recurring SSBT legend Sarah Griffin makes her long awaited return for Draft Szn and it does not disappoint. We do a holiday draft with a twist: 1 thing that is overrated, 1 thing that is underrated, 1 thing that is properly rated, and a flex pick. Before we get into that draft, we quickly discuss the Eduardo Rodriguez signing. It was a great episode and Sarah really wants to break her record for most downloads so help her out.

Did Oliver travel in The Rematch? Quick answer is no, but Big Red has a different theory. We talk about that, the state of the Patriots and OBJ, and wrap it up talking about how Ben Simmons would fit in with the Celtics. Draft SZN returns next week with some SUPER specials guests. Be Ready!!

Sam from Around the Diamond podcast joins us to talk some baseball!

Ed Rivera from the Dad Hat Chronicles joins the bros to talk all about hats!

Of course, they divulge about current baseball things, New England states, and all the other normal bullshit that we talk about in this podcast.

Good friend Ben Porter hops on to talk ALL things MLB and especially Sox. The Boston Red Sox are headed to the ALCS to face the Houston Astros and we are pumped. We talk about that, dream booth announcers, Seth Wickersham, and how we love this Red Sox team. Tune in and catch up to ride this wave of Boston baseball!

The bros have a lot to talk about this week. There's a lot of shit going on in the real world of sports, but more importantly....... THE BOYS HAVE SOME MASSIVE ANNOUNCMENTS TO SHARE!

October 23 2021. The Rematch!

The four bros are once again joined this week by Fitzy from WEEI / Patriots.com (@FitzyGFY). They touch on Brady's exit from New England as well as the pending return of Tom Brady to Gillette, as well as some somber Patriots Week 3 reactions/takeaways. As always the fellas toss in some BIG TAKES and SHOCKING moments along the way.

Congratulations to Oliver, the 2021 Fantasy Baseball Champion. Well-deserved - but I hope that chucklehead doesn't expect to win again next year!! Following a weekend of getting swept, the fellas talk some Red Sox and express their varying confidence levels heading toward the playoffs.

We hope you enjoy the listen and let us know what you think - @SmallStateTakes

They discuss their favorite books, words, sports, food and travel experiences! This interview kind of came out of the blue, but it was a total blast.
