Small State Big Takes

This week is the MLB trade deadline, so we spend a lot of time focusing on MLB. Don't worry, if that isn't for you, we dive into the wave of music that hit us last week as well. Trying to think of what else we got to...I guess you'll just have to lsiten to find out. 

This week we have Terry Cushman on for a Red Sox centered podcast. We talk about several topics including Terry's hidden interests, David Price vs. Eck, and whether or not the Red Sox should sell. There's a whole lot going on here, be sure to strap in and be ready for some takes because this one lived up to the hype. 

Eric Cross is back in action. He joined us for another fantasy baseball special. Sorry, we have Stranger Things spoilers this week. We don't get it to it more towards the end, but they're in there. We give out a warning so it's okay. This week we talk about athletes we had high, high hopes for that never really panned out the way we wanted. We also obviously talk about Stranger Things; what a friggen show. People forget that Small State Big Takes was the first to have the Kemba Walker news. We had this on LAST WEEKS episode, before the real rumors started to swirl. We get to that, along with a lot of NBA offseason recap. We also talk about Red Sox news that broke as we were recording (Eovaldi). We were one man short today, and we ended on some pre game rituals we grew up doing (or still do) before games. It's one of the craziest endings in the shows history...make sure you tune in to see how Josh contributes to the show even when he is in Disneyland...

Things get testy this week over something that is unexpected: basketball. What? Yeah, Small State Big Takes is going NBA. Be ready. We talk potential MLB playoff SOLUTIONS (as in, new playoff formats). Mixed in there are big takes (some actual big takes like, weird ones). A surprisingly contentious episode this week. Steve is in the EU this week, so it's just 3 people. Fun fact: only 2 of the Big Takers have been at every single episode. Wild.
