301 people live in the tiny Out Back Australian town of Boulia. The town actually lies in the Shire of Boulia. It’s home to a couple of things such as Boulia Desert Sands Camel Races and also the strange and mysterious Min Min Light.

The village of Hessdalen in Norway is located in Hessdalen Valley. The village has a population of around 200 people. Like Boulia Australia it is an out of the way place and very much like Boulia people have been seen mysterious lights for at close to a 100 years.

The small city of Battle Creek Michigan (pop 52,347) sits where the Kalamazoo River and Battle Creek meet. The town took hold after a scuffle between some Native Americans and surveyors over food. Later a deal was reached and the NA left leaving settlers to take over the land. In the center of town just on the Northside of Kalamazoo is the Hart-Dole-Inouye Federal Center. This building is what remains of the famous or infamous Battle Creek Sanitarium aka “The San”. This is the story of not only “The San” but also the many you ran it, Dr. John Harvey Kellogg.

Olalla is a small unincorporated town on the coast of Puget Sound. It was once a boomtown when the foresting industry showed up in Washington but like so many others the town dwindled in size as the forest did. The little town of Gulf Breeze rests in far north Florida, in the panhandle.  The town of 7,000 or so in a quiet affluent community.  Today most people stop by Gulf Breeze to enjoy the zoo, but for four months at the end of 1987 into the beginning of 1988 UFO fever gripped the town.  Ed walters a well-respected member of the community and contractor started seeing UFOs and not only seeing but taking pictures of them, thirty-eight of them.

Yuba City is nestled in the mountains of Northern California.  It was settled in 1848 and become the county seat of Sutter County in 1856 after winning it back from the town of Nicolaus.  Over the year’s Yuba has had it’s fair share tragedies and scares.  The 1955 Christmas Flood, the B-52 crash in 1961,  and in 1976 a bus crash killed 27 Yuba City High school students.  In 1978 five young men would go missing, this is the story of the Yuba County Five.

Big Timber is the county seat of Sweet Grass County in Montana, with a population of only 1600.  It’s named after nearby Big Timber creek.  The town is located east of the Crazy mountains.  It’s even home to the Crazy Mountains Museum.

The Crazy Mountains are a small 40-mile long “island” of mountains in Western Montana, they are the youngest mountain range in the country.  They were known as a mystical place to the Native Crow tribe.  Known for being unpredictable.  And, perhaps they are as many learned after Arron Hedges went missing only for his remains to turn up years later 11 miles from the campsite he started from.

The little city of Niagara Falls hardley needs and introduction a picturesque city nestled beside two of natures greatest sights, the American Fall and Bridal Veil Falls. Not everything in Niagara Falls New York is postcard worthy. In 1978 a neighborhood called Love Canal would make national news as it was declared a national emergency. However the story of Love Canal started way before 1978.

The town of Delcambre is nestled on the borders of Iberia and Vermillion parishes. The town is at the head of the Delcambre Canal which leads from fomr Lake Peigneur to the Gulf of Mexico. It was on Lake Peigneur in 1980 that one of the most jaw-dropping engineering disasters happened.
