  • The town that turns animals into crackers
It's our last stop on the Lincoln Highway. The end of the pavement. The final stand. Season 4 comes to an end, and quite frankly Karmen's pretty happy about that. This week Jessica and Karmen are in Pennsylvania, visiting York...a pretty important town in this country's history. Then they head down to Beaver, yes Beaver... it's a town, look it up. As you can probably imagine, the discussion about Beaver is very pleasurable. Don't miss your exit.

  • The town that threw a couch at its neighbor
Indiana. One might say, "Indian Land." It was a gift from the native americans, to the new settlers/trades people. And if you're thinking what we're thinking, you know something's not right about that. There's strange stuff cooking in Indiana as Jessica and Karmen make their way across it on the Lincoln Highway, particularly corn dogs. Lots and lots of corn dogs. Don't miss your exit, find out why you can't kiss a girl and also wear a mustache in this teeth clenching episode.

  • The town that died from eating too much ice cream
Is there such a thing as too much ice cream? Yes... the answer is yes. Tell your kids, save a life.
Jessica and Karmen skip right through the town that created barbed wire, and head to a not so small town in Illinois, Chicago. There are some strange events that happened in the Windy City. Find out more about Death Alley, the deadly game of 'Who Spilled the Beans,' the man who ate too much, and our personal favorite, Poopgate.

  • The town where Annie didn't need her gun
Wyoming, 1923. The Wild West. Prohibition. Drought, War.

Meanwhile in Nebraska... Corhuskers. Poor Farms. A Salt Witch. Carhenge. While the car ride through Nebraska is a long one, hamburger way, it is anything but boring. Actually, it's pretty boring, but the history is not. Jessica and Karmen take on Elkhorn, Nebraska, the town that has all the amenities a big city could offer.

  • The town where an empire vanished
In Wyoming, there's a town that not too many people know about. A town with an optomisic name. Unfortunately, the founders and homesteaders of this town were unable to sustain their dreams, due to the unrelenting scorched earth, dust and racism. Join Jessica as she takes a quick detour off the route to Empire, Wyoming.

  • The town that's a big tool
What's that smell? Why it's the Great Salt Lake's sulfuric stink. I think Mark Twain would be proud of our stop in Tooele, Utah. He would probably not be so proud of the horrible Utahn dad jokes Jessica decided to share. Pop a quick squat with Karmen and Jessica, then let's get the heck out of Utah.

  • The town that has nice melons
What do you get when you combine a giant sand mountain, the pony express, some secret hybrid melons, and Karmen and Jessica? The end of the SmalltownUSA. I mean, that would be heavy and they probably wouldn't survive. Thank goodness it's not the end and we can head over to Falcon, Nevada, an oasis, for a pit stop. And really, just a pit stop. Not too much here to see.

It's also Black History Month. Karmen and Jessica shed some light on a couple trail blazers in Nevada, who helped advance social justice and equity.

  • The towns where the hills ate the eyes
What would you do if you were stranded for months on a cold, blizard-ridden mountain top with your family and little to no food? More importantly, who would you eat first? Even more importantly, what part would you eat first? Karmen and Jessica are still in California visiting Donner's Pass, where the infamous Donner Party decided to take matters into their own hands and become cannibals. They truck in over to Truckee to learn about its dark past. It's getting serious over here.
